I had the fish special which consisted of Hallibut in a tasty broth accompanied by mussels and lobster ravioli. Bliss! The only complaint I had was that I had to ask for a spoon because the broth was too delicious to waste! I splurged on the chocolate mousse (after all, it was Mother's Day) and was not disappointed. At one point we got a bit miffed when the music level went up and mentioned it to a staff person - turned out it was a special piece for someone celebrating a birthday and didn't last long. (And we were very much enjoying it otherwise.) But after her set, Yves Evans stopped by our table and apologized, which gave US a chance to apologize and then we had a cheerful conversation. The food was tremendous, we both had the onion soup which is rich and very filling. I had the steak salad which was superb and perfect lunch meal. My wife had the quiche Lorraine and salad which she enjoyed very much. It was just like we had stepped from streets of La Quinta into a bistro on the streets of Paris. We will return for dinner and the happy hour also looks promising. The outside terrace while not scenic is very cozy and inviting. The menu has great offerings. My friends had the salmon and were very pleased with the presentation and preparation of the fish. I had the soup of the day and Caesar salad. The potato-leek soup and salad were delicious. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
