The elevated outdoor patio is perfect. The ambience with hanging lanterns is exquisite. It felt like we were in Europe dining in a piazza. The brunch menu is quite diverse in tea of sweet and savory options. We arrived at 6:30 on a Thursday night and did NOT have to wait for a table. All nestled in the unique and inviting space of The Maritime Hotel on 9th Ave. in West Chelsea.

Excellent food, even better ambience/environment - both inside and outside areas. Attentive service and very reasonable pricing. Delicious carpaccio with black truffle oil and arugula... amazing pizzas. And a berry tart with the most flaky, melt-in-your-mouth crust served piping hot with vanilla gelato atop. My guest and I shared a salad, gnocchi, pizza, and bottle of wine. Everything was delicious and well prepared. The service was attentive, although we did have to ask for several items (salt and pepper, olive oil, bread).

I ordered the breakfast pizza and wished I could have eaten it all but my stomach couldn't take it. I took it home and ate as much as I could of it through the day. It was amazing. I loved their chicken sausage. The french toast with mascarpone was delicious (my husband had this).
