The atmosphere, with tables far apart, is quiet and relaxing. The décor is elegant. The servers are there when you need them but do not intrude into your privacy. Ah the food! Our group of 4 had the shortest tasting menu, and we don't know how anybody can make it through the two larger tasting menus. We were completely full after 5 courses: sea bass, sturgeon, young chicken, beef, and citrus flan. Each was a work of art; each was a mouthful of wonderful flavors. LBV is at the top of its game. The 5-course tasting menu was full of flavors and just the right proportions for each serving (although our table thought the chicken entree was the weakest one - good, but not great). Our server was nice, but thought she seemed a bit stiff or uncomfortable. We appreciate being in a room with settings that allow quiet table conversation without having to compete with nearby, loud tables or blaring music.
