A friend and I did Happy Hour (4-6 daily I think): 7 appetizers $7 each, 6 drinks $6 each, including a delightful Grapefruit Ruby cocktail. We shared 3 appetizers: mussels in broth, risotto with grilled shrimp, & a delicious salad that included a warm goat cheese crouton with lavender honey and candied walnuts. Loved the risotto - it would have easily made a meal for one.
We sat outside on the patio, in a boring shopping center but quiet. With my back to the parking lot, my view was delightful. Our waitress took great care of us, made useful suggestions and brought us bread 3-4 times to sop up all the yummy broth from the mussels. We dined off of the Happy Hour menu (choice of 7 items for $7 each) and also ordered a couple of entrees. All the food was well prepared, tasty, and served in a timely fashion. I thought the food tasted fantastic and it was affordable when compared to other French restaurants in San Diego. We had a great time there, they made us feel special because I told them we were dining on my wife's birthday. It was delicious, the best Salmon I've ever had! The waiter was on time with refilling our bread every couple minutes because it was so good with the butter provided. All the dishes looked beautiful.
