A word from L2O

L2O is a modern seafood restaurant located in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood. Divided into a number of distinct spaces, L2O offers guests a sense of intimacy and a variety of dining options. The dining room features a four-course prix fixe menu, a seven-course luxury-ingredient tasting menu… and a seven-course seasonal tasting menu. A lounge presents cocktails and a separate menu while the Tatami Room, a fully private dining area with seats and tables sunken into the floor, evokes a Japanese dining experience. "Very good top-of-the-scale food, ambiance and service. An unusually lengthy (and expensive) wine list, the kind that used to be so fashionable. Beautiful decor, and pleasant, friendly service. Definitely a special occasion space, and worth planning for. Interestingly, unlike many places of similar ilk, particularly in New York, not full of expense account types, but rather couples or foursomes out for a special evening."

"I think this is one of the best seafood reatarants in the US. We have ordered one of the recommended courses, of which quality was definately far better than average four-star traditional Japanese-food restaurants in Japan. In addition, quiet atomosphere made my conversation with my guests proceed smoothly without any hinderance."

"French tourists, we're used to go to 2 or 3 Michelin Stars Restaurants (France and London).
The meals were great, the service more than perfect.
We don't understand : L2O deserve 3 stars or maybe a lot of Restaurants don't deserve their own stars...

"Can't say enough good things about L2O. My husband and I decided to try something new for date night. The food was beyond superb, the service was impeccable and the tour of the facilities (especially) the kitchen was impressive/fun. Can't wait to go back. In fact, I'm going to recommend L2O for some of our upcoming corporate events."

"L2O - last night! Incredible!
L2O has been one of our favorite restaurants, but we had not been back since the Chef changes. The service is still the best. The room is still stunning. But the food is better - taste and presentation.
Our dinner was outstanding!"
