Kyma - AtlantaMother's Day Special Prix Fixe MenuWhat a delight! Kyma is fresh, modern Mediterranean cuisine, served up in a sophisticated Greek setting. The prix fixe menu was wonderful and extraordinarily generous in the appetizer portions. After warm pita & spreads were three appetizers from a generous list of choices. We had the cheese pies, sautéed shrimp with ouzo, tomato, feta, parsley and a beet salad. All won rave reviews from us. The entrees were all delicious. Plenty of choices of fresh fish, also jumbo prawns and filet mignon. And the practically perfect meal was brought to a conclusion with a dessert trio sampler. The flourless chocolate cake, baklava and greek donut were delicious. Enjoy some of the spreads. We like the hummous and the eggplant. with walnuts with grilled pita bread. On Sunday nights you can order chops by the number. If you only want a little lamb chop after all those appetizers, they have priced them individually with a small serving of potatoes on the side. It is always a treat to dine at Kyma. We got a few small plates grilled octopus that came with thin red onions and a red wine viniagrette, plus a regional fish that was grilled whole and filleted. Dessert was a flourless chocolate cake with greek yogurt ice cream. It was ridiculous how good everything was!
Our server, Corey, was happy to help us choose and modify items to work around food allergies. It was refreshing to see that level of knowledge about the menu and about which ingredients in certain recipes could be left out without reasonably and still have something that tastes the way it is supposed to.

A really nice restaurant with Greek fare, located on restaurant row on Piedmont St. High end Buckhead lifestyle restaurant.
Our visit was during buckhead Restaurant week, on a Saturday, we were promptly seated for our 6:30 pm reservation. The is a very clean attractive restaurant.
I could not begin to describe the delicious samples of salad, appetizers, and desserts this visit, it really was wonderful.
The wine list is top caliber, the waitstaff professional and attentive.
Pricey wine list, food a la carte, everything is extra $$.
