The service and the food were outstanding..
Very enjoyable experience..6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMA little pricey, but the foodA little pricey, but the food was absolutely fantastic! The best potato pancakes I have ever had.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMThe Catskills Comes to ManhattanI was very curious to see (or should I say "taste") the food at what was, at least in my mind, a tribute to the Jewish mecca of summer resorts known as the Borscht Belt aka, The Catskills. I had the scrambled eggs with lox and onions which was yummy. My one friend had the homemade gefelte fish and it was an entirely different experience from that stuff that comes in a jar. Delicate, flaky and flavorful, served with sliced beets. My other friend said her Reuben was the best she'd ever had. And we all shared the potato latkes; maybe not quite like mom's, but very good nonetheless. The Duck schmaltz fries were another hit. So, go!5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMYum!The food was great and the service was good too. Had smoked fish platter. Whitefish was different than what I usually get at 'deli' but the fish was light and delicious. The capers had that perfect fresh salty bite to add to it. Loved the potato latkes, wish there were more than 3 in the appetizer for the price. Fresh homeade bloody marys excellent, needed a little more of a kick. Overall great experience. Needed water refills a few times, and no bus boy was in sight.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMTotally impressed!Loved our brunch - especially the gazpacho bloody mary!!!5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMTerrific and underappreciated.Terrific and underappreciated. A good value for the food and ambience.4/16/2013 12:00:00 AMLoved Sunday brunch, especiallyLoved Sunday brunch, especially the fish platter, latkes and pear bellini. My chopped salad was not as wonderful as it has been previously (they forgot croutons and dressing was not outstanding) and I thought the waiter recommended cheesecake was boring and tasteless, should have skipped dessert when they were out of everything they wanted. Will return, just not around Passover when they are out of so much!3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMGive your review a title (optional)We went for Passover & had the special Seder menu. It was delicious & the staff were lovely - we'd be happy to return & try the regular menu.3/25/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was our second time atThis was our second time at Kutshers. We really enjoyed
Everything. The potato latkes were just perfect- not greasy , very light and delicious..
The pastrami eggroll was also a hit served with a horseradish mustard.
Our favorite main course dishes were the brisket and Romanian steak( skirt steak).
Kids loved the rainbow hot fudge ice cream sundae to end the meal.3/20/2013 12:00:00 AMThe lunch special was outstanding,The lunch special was outstanding, the soup and sandwich were tasty and very filing.3/14/2013 12:00:00 AMIt's all goodExcellent quality food served by a fine staff.
