KuroshioVery tasty and great presentationThe food was very tasty. My group had the salmon, sea bass, lamb, and live lobster. They were all excellent. The portion sizes were enough for each person, and they even had edamame before the meal. The food was also presented with exquisite detail and beauty. I would go again.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMDelicious - worth the price! You won't be disappointed. I dined here while visiting and enjoyed the food, both raw and cooked very much. I just hope the town supports this place, which might be outside the comfort zone of many Midwesterners.4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMWe went to Kuroship for theWe went to Kuroship for the second time recently - and came away happy as the first time. The sitting was comfortable - not a bit crowded as you would expect from most restaurants on Main St. The ambiance was great - quiet and relaxing, the family can have conversations without raising our voices.
I ordered Ribeye, which is an interesting and delicious take on steak. My wife ordered Duck Ramen and she loved it. Kids have sushis and tempura udons, all of which they enjoyed. Edamame appetizer was a crowd pleaser, while we waited for our food.
The whole family had a good outing - so we collectively gave a thumbs-up!4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMPerfectly cooked food servedPerfectly cooked food served in best atmosphere of any Japanese restaurant in town. Hard to beat that.4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMWorth a drive to AA - SushiThis is worth a drive to Ann Arbor. The sushi was excellent. Much better than I would have expected in a college town. A bit pricey but worth it. Hamachi carpaccio is a really great dish. The Miso soup is large, you could share it. The decor and ambiance is so soothing we could have stayed all night. There is a private room for presentations or groups. I will be sure to return to this place. Almost as good as the top spots in Chicago. Arami, Japonais, Mirai etc. They also have alot of non sushi dishes like steak, pork tenderloin, for non sushi eaters. I will try those dishes next time.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMThis place is wonderful forThis place is wonderful for taking clients, friends, or family.
