A word from Kristalbelli
With the rapidly growing popularity of Kpop around the world, the most successful entertainment mogul in Asia, JY Park has taken Korean barbecue/lounge upscale and hip, anticipating to make it the place where entertainment meets exquisite dining.

At the heart of the concept is a custom-grill made of a crystal placed on the belly of the ancient-tale character with infrared heat that will produce higher temperatures than charcoal or gas grills. Downdraft machines are promised to eliminate smoke so you don't go home smelling like grilled meat; chef Kay promises finest ingredients ranging from rib eye and pork belly to scallops to market vegetables. A separate lounge menu serves small plates.

The bi-level venue has private rooms specially intended for any type or size of private events.

We arrived to the restaurant for dinner earlier than we anticipated. The staff welcomed us and sat us down promptly and the service was outstanding. We were explained the menu with recommendations. We were delighted that all of our food choices were excellent. My husband had the steak which he said was delicious. They brought to the table a complimentary dessert decorated for my husband's birthday. The while experience was positive!!!!!

Went here for Korean Restaurant Week with my brother. We both were amazed! The atmosphere was beautiful, and the food was even better. Surprisingly the portions were huge! I had the risotto seaweed truffle balls over salad, kristabelli bimbimbop with tofu, and popcorn ice cream. The chef also brought us carrot corn soup in a bread bowl. Words can't even describe how delicious the food here is. I'm already planning on what to get the next time I go. Even better, my brother - the foodie - was impressed, and said that this was some of the best food he has had in NY! The Juga Lounge looked amazing as well - I will definitely be back!

After a long stressful and noisy day in NYC, I couldn't have asked for a better dinner than the one we had at Kristalbelli. It is such a nice environment- very relaxing and quiet. We all ordered different specialty cocktails (all delicious) and lots of different plates to share. Besides the things we ordered, there were so many extra small things to taste. By the time dinner was over, I had forgotten about all of the stresses of the day. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice relaxing place with amazing food!

This is a very good Korean restaurant; however, for those with a low tolerance for spicy foods, care must be taken and consulting with the waiter is a must. It is quite possible to avoid the intense spiciness but some of the reason for going to the restaurant might be lost. The restaurant is on the expensive side and worth it.

Food was delicious and the waiter was phenomenal, very polite and new his menu really well, I let him pick my meal and was not disappointed at all - he brought at the rib eye for me and I don't normally like rib eye but this was delicious and dry aged for 30 days (apparently the same steak Peter Lugers uses!).

I wanted to try a unique date spot to have a good time. This Korean BBQ was both delicious and the perfect place to get to know someone. The noise level wasn't too loud allowing us to actually hear each other while it wasn't too silent creating awkward moments. I would defjjitely recommend as a place to bring people for a 2nd or 3rd date.

Arrived a little early for our reservation. Was a reunion of siblings from out of state and overseas and two siblings birthdays. A group of 7. We were told we could go up to Juga Lounge while waiting for our table. Turned out to be a 1 1/2 hr wait for our table because the area we were to be seated in...we were told the air con had gone out and they were preparing another table. We got comp soju and bubblies while waiting though. When seated, service was prompt but they got one order wrong for one of our guest. They comped us with a dessert of our choice. Despite those glitches, everything went smoothly that night and everyone enjoyed. This was our second visit here.

Our second dinner at Kristalbelli and once again everything was excellent -- excellent service, excellent food. The care and attention provided by the staff was top-notch. The tuna appetizer was perfectly offset by the smoked bacon. The Wagyu beef barbeque melts I your mouth and the vegetable and sides were all delicious (best kimchee we've ever had). The last time we followed the beef with Bibimbap (delicious) and this time with the Bulgogi Dupbap, which might have even been more delicious. Desserts (I'm not a dessert person) were also amazing. And, what a great wine list!

The food at Kristalbelli was delicious. I celebrated my birthday with 6 of my closes friends and most everyone loved the food and wine. The only exception was my husband; who thought the steak was too small. The food is served in small portions but everything was exquisite and the flavors were fantastic and I didn't leave hungry or over stuff. The Service was attentive but not annoying. They knew when to interject and when to step away. We all had a great time! I would highly recommend Kristalbelli because of the food, staff and atmosphere.

Different type of dining experience. Very beautiful lounge upstairs. The waiter was very passionate about the food and explained "how things work" to us. The food was good, the service was good as well, but didn't like the bus boy reaching over my plate and didn't help to pass the dish to me, when it was obvious that I was reaching for it and he was standing there. However the restaurant does have a unique concept.

Went to try this place thanks to Groupon. Went for a Monday night date dinner and was very impressed from my overall experience. I'm a Korean American & been to ton of Korean BBQ but this might be one of the best so far in US. The way they cook their meat on a hot crystal plate right front of you is amazing and the flavor of the meat without any seasoning was incredible. A twist to traditional Korean food with European/Asian Fusion style was very well done. Had a good wine list for a small place and the ambient is quiet nice for a date night. Loved the pre-course meal free appetizer that chef sent out to start off and food was very good overall. Our service was great and the hose knew everything about all the dishes. Will be back soon.

My guest and I were seated at a nice area in the front. There was no crowd since it was past the lunch hour around 1:45 p m. The service was good and we placed our order. Thereafter, I received a appetizer or snack. It looked like garlic bread but it was burnt and hard to chew. The table was big but the plate setting was tiny. There were four pieces of garlic bread that was quietly set on the table by the head server without explanation. We were hungry because it was past the lunch hour so we ate it. I thought I was chewing on rubber. Otherwise, the main lunch meat set was good. The dessert was good too. The meat was slightly burnt.

What can I say? Your lunch fix prix menu was fabulous for a bday lunch today. You even made a special bday dessert in a non-flakey way. All the food was excellent -- particular all the apps -- we tried 3, and the short rib and banana bread pudding. The sides were tasty, prepared well, and elegant in style. The wait staff kept coming with descriptions and flavors and they could say or do no wrong. We even got invited back for drinks. The design was sleek and informal at the same time. Sam, you were very sweet and handled our reservation with care! Do yourself and your palate a favor and get there now!

This place was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! My boyfriend and I went for the last day of restaurant week and OMG OMG OMG. it was sooo good that we want to go here again. We got the 2 cuts of meat grilled on the crystal belly and it was DIVINE! the meat was so juicy and tender, and the salt to dip was heavenly. We also ordered seperately the bibimbap in the crystal ball which was good (not anything out of this world but delicious all the same). We also got the wine sampler... which was "eh". My boyfriend and I both liked the "main course" wine the best, it was sweet and berry-like amazingness. So good, i can't wait till we come back here again.

Arrived a little early. Was seated on time based on our reservation. We had the Wagyu prime rib...very tender & succulent! Had it cooked in front of us on their buddha crystal bbq grill. Service...attentive & timely. Danny Han, our wait person was very friendly, knowledgeable about the food & answered all our questions. He made suggestions, checked on us to ensure we were pleased with everything but was not obtrusive. He did forget to bring 2 of the 3 drinks on the 3 sampler liqueur we ordered, was very apologetic, served the 2 he forgot & comped us for it. He didn't have to but he did. Very nice gesture and great PR move! Had the pre-fixe restaurant week menu. Great choices! Bread pudding...amazing! Will return with friends and family!!
