  • "Went to Kres at the advice of a friend and we had an awesome time. Asked for and received the window seat. Our waiter, Chris, was friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered the blackend sea scallops for an appetizer. Huge and sweet. My wife got the 8oz fillet and at Chris's recommendation, I tried the elk steak. Everything was delicious. The elk is not gamey at all. Then they brought us the bread pudding and ice cream (on the house) for our anniversary dessert. Highly recommended. Great time. Thanks again Chris."

  • "I chose Kres Chophouse to take my wife to for our third wedding anniversary and was not disappointed! Reservations were made for 7:30pm and we were promptly seated and greeted by our server. We ordered the Blackened Diver Sea Scallops appetizer which arrived quickly and were cooked perfectly and were very good.... just a little pricey for the serving size. For the main course we had the Filet Wellington, and the Deer River Ranch Elk Loin. My first time eating Elk, and it was like filet mignon +100! Our server was very attentive, friendly, and brought us out a complimentary crème brule for our anniversary. I usually don't like crème brule, but this one was amazing and I actually ate most of it. All in all a great dinning experience."

They ensured a romantic spot upon arrival, accompanied by what seemed the BEST server available. We both were very surprised that Kres updates their menu every day, to provide the freshest food possible. We were both very pleased with our dinner, and would highly recommend it for a romantic dinner! We will definitely visit again."

  • "Waiting area couch table was covered with finished drinks making it unapealing to sit and relax to wait to be seated. Hostess said special menues would be on the table. They were not. Had to remind hostess. Menu`s were then switched at table while Elyssa was reading menu already making first impression akward. Waiters changed halfway through dinner.....This brought more akwardness. Waiter didnt know we were celebrating a birthday. At desert had to be reminded- Akwardness overload systems ready to crash. Other then that food was excellent! Work on service a bit. I like the place though:)"

  • "This was our first time to Kres and we were immediately impressed with the decor and ambiance. We were greeted right away and our waiter was fantastic. He explained the menu to us and even recommended meals that were best when split...which I didn't expect from a pricey steakhouse, but he was spot on and my wife and I were glad we did split our meal because it was plenty of food! The food was wonderful and I highly recommend giving it a try!"

  • "The hostess was dressed in a long, racer back tank top, leggings and boots...not very professional or classy for this calibar of a restaurant. She also needed some people skills training (not very welcoming). The service was very poor, and sloooooow. There were only about 5 tables in the whole place. Drinks took 15 minutes! We noticed that it was very hot and uncomfortable and when we asked the server why, he simply stated air was not working...so basically DEAL WITH IT. No apologies. Steaks were good, one of veggie sides was forgotten, and due to the heat...we didn't stay for dessert."

  • "Wonderful food. Started with calamari- cooked perfectly.. Romaine wedge was HUGE. My filet Wellington was amazing and the asparagus and truffle mash so good as well. Dessert: had to try the bread pudding. OMG in heaven. Only slight knock on the whole meal was that the whiskey taste was a little to much for me. Our server was great and knew a lot about our wine choice. I'd go back in a heart beat !"

The service on the other hand was the worst ever. It took way to long to get our drinks, and forever to be asked if we wanted a second drink. The waiter wasn't friendly and didn't appear to really care about providing a high level of service."

I looked on open table and chose Kres because it was near the comedy club we were going to attend after dinner. I was a little worried because it had recently received some unfavorable reviews. I wanted to write a review (normally I don't). Our server was Kevin and he was OUTSTANDING. He was very attentive and gave us excellent advice on menu choices and overall awesome service. Our food was excellent. It was cooked perfectly and we shared salads and sides that they split for us. We all really enjoyed our night out and I would recommend this restaurant. "

  • "I went to this restaurant and waited for 50 minutes after my reservation. They made no effort to seat my party for lunch and we had to eventually leave to find something to eat before a meeting. I noticed that one party that was seated when my party arrived, had not received any service for the entire time. This was an awful experience and seems to be a universal and pervasive failure of customer service. I am surprised as a businessman that this place is still in operation. "

  • "A group of four friends had dinner at Kres Chophouse before seeing Jersey Boys. It was a great night. To start, the men had the romaine wedge salad, the other wife had the spinach salad and I had lobster bisque. We ate every last bite; not a crumb or drop was left. For the entrée we had 2 filet mignon, a salmon and I had the Filet Wellington. The steaks were cooked perfectly and could be cut with a fork. Then we had the white chocolate bread pudding (to share) for dessert. OMG! To top off the whole experience we had the best waiter ever. Thanks George!   • "We chose Kres for our pre theater dinner for its proximity to the Bob Carr Theater. We had a 6:00 pm reservation but because of the Downtown Traffic and an Orlando Magic game we were late. Our server helped to keep us on our schedule without sacrificing quality or service. I had the NY Strip perfectly seasoned and cooked. My Wife had the Duck, also wonderful. Our only regret not having enough time to try the Bread Pudding for desert. We will definitely be back."

  • "Our server, Al, was friendly and helpful in describing unfamiliar ingredients in drink & food offerings. I tried the oysters Rockefeller. Not the best I ever had. IMO the oysters were undercooked(I don't eat raw) but tender and fresh. The spinach was runny. I disliked the taste of Pernod on top. My husband was quickly offered extra vegetables when he mentioned not caring for one of his sides. In answer to my questions, Al endorsed the pork chop and pork belly. Nice grilled flavor, tender. The tomato jam was delicious! I almost asked for more! It was perfect with the pork. As a side I had the same spinach as in the oysters Rockefeller, good flavor. It's a large side meant to be shared. I had a wonderful glass of an Argentine white wine. "

  • "My party was a double birthday celebration. The restaurant was understanding of our tardiness.Our server was knowledgeable and patient. Everyone was pleased with their meals, the service was great. I order the lobster tail, and it was by far one of the best I've tasted. Server also went beyond normal expectation, by providing the birthday girls with birthday treats to conclude our visit. I'll definitely be returning and recommending."
