Diner Reviews
  • "Great food, great service, and great entertainment! Wonderful place to take kids, friends and family for a great night out. "

  • "As is usual in Hibachi style cooking, food is cooked on the grill at your table. The cook this evening was very entertaining and interacted with all guests at the table. The food was cooked perfectly and as requested."

  • "Overall pretty good! a couple minor complaints - the squid was not what I expected, big thick slabs instead of rings, didn't pick up flavor well. our server was great at the hibachi. I'd definitely go again, get the pickled veggie appetizer again, a lot on the menu looked good."

  • "The food was horrible for the price. My chicken you couldn't ever chew and they made me another one and still chewy and funny taste."

  • "This, and the Destiny Koto continue to surprise me with how filling the portions are. Its not cheap, but the fish was fresh, and we walked away full and happy. Get the SMALL hot sake. The big on is a bit much for 1 person. If you have a large appetite, go with the combo plates! the sashimi and sushi are excellent. The Calamari in wasabi sauce is a great appetizer for 2. Service was a little slow, but attentive. Lemon Drop Koto-tini was very nice!"

  • "It was a pleasant atmosphere with pleasant waitresses with a friendly smile and very attentive. The Restaurant had a touch of ambience with soft lighting, not that we needed as it was a business lunch but felt serene and peaceful. I would recommend to a friend, a group, for lunch, dinner or anytime for that matter."

  • "Generally, the food was pretty good, but there were other aspects of the evening that brought our opinion down. The waitress was nice and pleasant, but not overly knowledgeable and couldn't answer some basic questions. Between the large crowd, the roar of flames from the hibachis, and the constant rhythmic clapping and yelling for birthdays, the atmosphere was very loud, bordering on frenetic. It took almost an hour to get our food. People seemed to be having fun, but we kind of felt like we were just sitting there watching because of the long wait for the food, and no visits from the waitress to refill drinks etc. Overall, considering the amount of the bill at the end, I kind of doubt we'll be back."

  • "The only problem that I had at dinner was no room on table. My party of three and I were seated at a hibachi table with two other groups of three. I kept bumping elbows with my neighbor. It was hard to enjoy my meal without getting a cramp in my hand from trying to keep my elbows close to my side. Also when the check came I was unable to use my coupon."

  • "Out of a group of eight, they ask how they want our steak, yet it was all cooked together an no difference between rare, med rare or med! One of the people in our group asked for a combo and didn't get it! Also there was a compliment drink that we were not even offered."

  • "Huge rolls never seen in Japan. Fun place though. Loud."

  • "I think this restaurant has really good food and the hibachi tables are fun. We did see a rowdy bunch if really dressed down SU guys but it didn't ruin the dinner. I recommend the filet mignon and shrimp combo."

  • "Our hibachi chef was funny and did a good job. For a brown rice option, they serve a brown and black rice combination that was really good. In addition to the hibachi option, there is an area for individual table dining."
