Most importantly the food was excellent. I was quickly seated even though I was almost 30 minutes late for my reservation. The service was excellent by the waitress and was greated by the matrodee (excuse my spelling) and the manager. It was just a wonderful experience. All members of our party were impressed by the freshness and tastiness of the food. Our server Chris took good care of us: when something fell short of expectations he fixed it cheerfully and immediately. Fish tanks are very cool and beautiful with unusual specimens--I won't spoil the surprise for you! The ball park was well in walking range and there is a good event parking lot catty-corner to the restaurant for $15. Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed their meal - even the picky ones. Very friendly staff as well. My only negative comment would be our seating, which was a round table by itself in the corner. It was separated from the rest of the dining room by the walkway from the front door. Our waiter was very personable and good with the kids (he even knew to offer to take the kids' orders early and bring their food out) and kept up with our drinks pretty well. My husband's salmon salad was large enough to make a satisfying dinner, and my sushi was very good as well. The berry creme brulee was excellent. We usually go to Kona for their sushi, we are BIG fans of the Wave roll (highly recommended for people that say they don't like sushi, this roll might just make you a convert). We had the sweet and spicy shrimp, FABO. The potstickers were perfect. The peanut sauce on the chicken sate--like eating peanut fudge. The margherita flatbread--stunning. The avocado egg roll--a unique and lovely experience. We also had a couple of rolls which were all equally delicious. And the discounted price--AMAZING.
