The entrees and desserts are delicious too. We enjoyed everything we've tried. They also have a great selection of cocktails, martinis, beer, sake, and wine. We've usually dine in the main restaurant area but they do have some hibachi tables in a separate area. You don't hear them at all where we sit, so the restaurant is definitely well designed.5/23/2013 12:00:00 AMFilling Morimoto's shoes nicelythe head chef was #2 to Iron Chef Morimoto, and having eaten at both those restaurants, we can attest that the quality of ingredients and their execution is on par. The sushi rice is amazing, and the special sushi rolls (poached lobster with smoked salmon) decadently pleasing. the pork gyoza were delicate and tender, as was the cold filet starter. The ribeye to-ban was perfectly cooked, and the service was prompt and courteous. Morimoto's in Philly is more adventuresome, but the Lehigh Valley palates are not quite "there" yet. **writer has lived in Japan, and found this restaurant to be the most authentically "Japanese" in letter and spirit!5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat spot!For sushi fans this is heaven! I had been there before but this was probably my best visit yet. Rachel was an amazing server and knew absolutely everything about the dishes, the sake, and even history about the cuisine. The food she recommended was amazing but truly the night was made by probably one of the best servers I have ever had. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and can't say anything bad about our experience. The wait staff was on top of everything... checked on us regularly, food was not brought out until each course was completed, glasses were kept filled and the quality of the food was excellent. The restaurant was packed and rather noisy which made it hard to hear everyone in our party, but it is expected with a restaurant of this size.
