The fish is always grade A, which you can taste in your sushi. Service is most of the time amazing as well.
This is a great place for a romantic date, or a group night's out on the town. Decor on the indise was also very nice especilly the Sushi Bar. Outside area lovely to sit there, t as a little cold the night we went but on a warmer evernign it must be absolutley gorgeous.Drinks were delicious. It's a better deal than Nobu across the street. An LA staple that may not be as seeney as the past, but I think that's a good thing. The food has always been solid anchored by the original crispy rice. Well priced. Lovely staff that always seems to care. The valet is a bit pricey at $8 and the initial service took at least 10 minutes before our drink orders were taken. We got to the restaurant earlier than our reservation time and were told we would be seated right away. There was no compunction that we were there early so we may be waiting for a little while, instead they took people who walked in including parties of 9 and seated them before my guest and I. I don't know if it was due to not being as dressy but still the only real reason I would come back is because our server Anthony was outstanding!! I have to say that I will be back. The food was amazing and all of it suggested by our amazing waitress.
