Took my significant other here for his birthday. The service was great. Nice interior to the restaurant. The appetizer we had, duck something was great. The sashimi was fresh as well and tasty. The rolls themselves though left something to be desired. They were bland, and not very creative. Overall the experience was great, and we both enjoyed. I would go back again, but probably avoid the sushi rolls unless there are more creative ones on the menu.

The sushi was good but not spectacular. I may be spoiled after numerous trips to Asia. We were disappointed when we realized the menu was limited since it was Saturday, we should have checked this our prior to coming of course. The ambiance is a bit clinical.

My husband and I visited Koi Soho for the first time and had the creamy rock shrimp, Kobe potstickers, short ribs and a sushi roll and were very pleased with the spectrum of flavors, presentation, food temperature and service. Our cocktails were made to perfection. Everything we had was absolutely delicious and the staff were very attentive, accommodating and friendly. I would definitely return and recommend!

When our party of 6 arrived we were told that they didn't have our reservation. I showed her my open table confirmation on my I - phone and she then said ( As I just said we don't have it but don't worry I'll fit you in) a little rude I thought but whatever. Waiter was very nice and described the menu and specials very well. Food was only ok, nothing would bring me back. One person from my party left and we found out he paid the bill. We asked the waiter if he left the gratuity and he said with a look of un happiness yes but only 18%. This really ruined my evening. That's a lot of nerve. Wont be back

I thoroughly enjoyed dinner at this restaurant and I'm so ready to go again. The ambiance is very romantic but energetic enough for those going who are just friends. I had a sushi roll, the rock shrimp tempura and a martini - all were amazing. The service was great; the hostess and our waiter were very attentive. The location is great and I'll definitely be returning again soon.

Ate here with a friend - both disappointed in shrimp sushi roll. the tempura softshell crab roll was very bad. The uni handroll which they made especially for me was very good. The agadashi tofu daily special was good, but nowhere near as good as some places I enjoy. Altogether disappointing. Had breakfast there the next morning and it was a little better, but not excellent.

Food was super fresh and delicious. Service was cold and I was expecting more at this pricepoint. Prices were astronomical - especially for the apps and cocktails. The decor is very modern and classy in the lovely Trump SoHo. Koi is best for large groups to split apps and enjoy cocktails. However (no surprise), those are the items priced disproportionately. Portion sizes are very generous. Overall, I like the Bryant Park location better for service (much more personable) and the SoHo location for the atmosphere.

An inventive menu coupled with beautifully served and delicious food-- never fails. And its the Trump Soho so you're getting that chic cool ambience with exceptional service. Very quiet for lunch, if that's what you want. Think we were one of 3 diners in total. Dinner and evening cocktail traffic is higher.

The food is always great at Koi. The service increased the experience. The waiter was incredibly friendly and provided great customer service with his easy going yet professional manner. He also topped off our glass of wine a little extra as the bottle was being closed to finish so he let us enjoy the rest which I thought was nice.

The Kobe filet mignon was to die for. We ordered it for the two 11-year old girls dining with us and they loved it, but so did all of the adults. The restaurant was accommodating for children, but I wouldn't have brought young ones here for dinner. The sushi was very good but not outstanding. We loved our waiter - he was attentive and helpful. My husband & I renewed our vows at the Trump hotel then had dinner here at Koi. It was absolutely romantic!!! It was my husbands birthday as well and they followed all my requests that i made on the initial reservation. I didn't have to hit or anything everything was a surprise and romantic!! The manager even came to our table to offer his congratulations with a bottle of complimentary champagne (we couldn't finish it so they sent it up to out room in the trump hotel). Thank you for making an absolutely memorable evening!!!! This was our second time visiting Koi & i cant seem to get enough!!

We came here for Valentine's Day. The food was so delicious though we did order something that never came out but we didn't mind because the portions we're so spot on we were already full. Unfortunately we were seated right next to a doorway which bothered me but not my boyfriend so we didn't fuss. Definitely make a reservation or it'll be a hassle, luckily we had one so we were seated right away despite the fact we were 30 minutes early. The service was great and the food and wine were spectacular! They even had a complementary photo booth for Valentine's Day. We'll definitely be back.

Went here on Valentine's Day around 6PM, very friendly hostess led us to our table. Very chic and energetic, dimly lit and modern atmosphere. Food came out delicious! I had the braised beef which was melt in your mouth delicious. The mashed potatoes were smooth and delicious with a hint of truffle in them. Tuna Tar Tar was top notch! To end the night, on our way out, we passed this small photo booth picture item they had for valentine's day and received a free photo souvenir for the night!
