Diner Reviews
  • "This was our first visit to Koi and we were very pleasantly surprised. The nigi-hama roll we had as an appetizer was superb as were our main dishes. I had the Chilean Sea Bass and my wife had the Black Cod. Both were superb."

  • "I choose this restaurant based on other reviews & liked what I saw on the web page. This was a special dinner for my new husband's birthday and it was just perfect. The atmosphere was lovely & the food incredible! Our waitress, Robin, was so helpful with suggestions and describing the dishes for us. We went with almost everything she suggested and were so glad we did, especially the bento box. Topped off with a special birthday treat at the end, made this special night very memorable. It's been 4 days since our meal and we are still talking about how wonderful it was!"

  • "Our first time going for Sushi when we are on vacation and we really enjoyed the sushi at Koi. I can be very picky when it comes to sushi and everything was delicious; The service was exceptional and the food was fast as we had a concert to attend to. We will definitely come back to Koi when we are back in Las Vegas!"

  • "We made reservations, got stuck in Strip traffic, made a call to move 15 minutes, staff ok'd and from there, everything went smoothly. Service was great, food was so tasty, wait was not long,it was so nice!"

  • "5 of my buddies and I had dinner here on Saturday night and we thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The menu was fairly limited for a sushi restaurant, but the food itself was very good. It is certainly not the best sushi I've had, but it was good and I didn't think it was overpriced for Vegas. I'd definitely eat here again. We ate at 10pm on a Saturday night, so it was really loud."

  • "The restaurant provided outstanding, timely and freindly service. I would reccommend this to anyone as a place to enjoy fresh Japanses cuisine."

  • "Awesome Japanese/Asian restaurant. A little expensive but definitively worth every penny."

  • "The spicy tuna on crispy rice and baked crab handrolls were perfect! Also, loved the cream spicy shrimp. The albacore with onions was tasty but not as fresh as it should have been. We went on a Sunday night and the place was dead. Would have preferred a busier atmosphere."

  • "Same as all the sushi restaurants. But in a strip hotel so way more expensive. Good saki menu. "

  • "The food was to die for - simply amazing. I went with 5 people and we ordered a bunch of appetizers, a few entrees and a few sushi rolls. I didn't taste anything that wasn't amazing. The specialty drinks were amazing, too! I could not have asked for a better restaurant experience."

  • "My wife and I love sushi. I didn't know how real sushi can be. KOI was an amazing experience. They take sushi to great level. Our server and her team made the night one to remember. "

  • "What an amazing dining experience. The staff, food and drinks were amazing. The ambience is incredible too. If you see sea scallops on the menu, get them! You will not be disappointed! "

  • "despite two servers (one and the other described as his "assistant"), we still had to flag people down for basic service like water refills and to order. The salmon carpaccio was beautiful but the rest (a special maki roll for the night and the tempura rock shrimp) were pedestrian at best. we couldn't finish the tempura because it was way too rich with nothing to cut it. To be fair, when we told the server he brought us two miso soup to cleanse the palate (also pretty standard fare). The by the glass wine list was pretty meagre as well compared to most fine dining places I attend (who only has a Cava for sparkling wine at a Japanese place?) Have had better, and received more service and ambience for less."

  • "Went to Koi before going to see Britney Spears , totally forgot about the dress code at KOI and was under dressed , shorts and tank top. The manager came out and was super nice and explained the dresscode. He gave us the option of the lounge with full dinner menu. I had a great dinner the bartenders were just great. GO TO KOI YOU will have a good time ."

  • "The food was awesome, especially the sushi. Ordered the lobster tacos, but there more bite sized - mini tacos than the real thing so don't plan on ordering that for your whole meal. The staff were friendly and attentive all around a good time for a larger group (there were 9 of us). "

  • "This was the first time I have been to Koi. It was a Wednesday night around 9, the restaurant wasn't very busy. We had amazing service and wow, was the sushi good. Our server recommended the sunrise roll, which we ordered along with the hamachi roll, which is one of their specialties. Both were so good! I love the design of the restaurant, but based on the materials used inside I would bet it gets pretty loud when it is busy. I will definitely return anytime I'm in town!! Oh, and the prices were surprisingly affordable considering it's right on the strip. "

  • "I found the resturant staff very helpful and friendly, any quieries we had about the menu they were able to recommend what was suited to our taste. The food was very well presented and tasted fantastic, by far the best Japanese Cuisine I have dined, the food and drinks were reasonably priced with good portion sizes. Resturant turns into a nightclub after 10 where they have special offers on drinks if you are looking to experience the night life of Las Vegas. "

  • "We needed a bite to eat late at night, and this was a great option. Our server, Ryan, was amazing and made some genuine great suggestions. The lounge turns into a night club around 10-10:30, so late at night, be prepared for some louder noise if you come in around then. Other than that, it seemed like a very quiet romantic type setting. The service here is top notch, and the food came out SUPER fast."

  • "We had dinner at Koi prior to our show in the Planet Hollywood showroom, which is located right next door. Dinner was great. I ordered the scallops and black rice dish which was very good. Definitely going back there. Also, our server was great."

  • "Being from Vancouver that has an abundance of good Japanese restaurants, I must admit this was among the best I've ever had. But the service was only OK, our waiter was fine, but the hostesses (which for some odd reason phoned me four times to confirm our reservations). Then they were down right snotty when we arrived; almost left. This place needs to change that fast if they want to be considered on the same level as places such as Mastro's & Spago where the service is superb, and friendly. The food was good, but the service (Hostesess) will prevent me from returning."

  • "Koi was a recommendation from a friend in NJ. The food was fabulous. We tried their Dragon and Tiger Rolls. Their Black Cod Fish was fresh and flakely."
