"Nice updates to Ko, BUT, being a local, I liked the old KO ambiance better, with the lighted tree in the center etc. This now appears more "Vegas" like vs. Hawaii and tropical in feel.

Very nice, and food was good, but not sure renovations were worth $5 million dollars."

"The restaurant is nicely appointed and situated. We had a waitress that asked questions and then didn't wait for any answers which became increasingly annoying as the evening went on. Food was extremely expensive even though we came for the Early bird special. Desserts were very average and disappointing. We will not be returning."

"The "new" Ko looks fabulous and we love that the menu still features all the wonderful dishes we've come to love over the years. And the new additions to the menu are just as delicious as our old favorites. A great place to dine on Maui for visitors and regulars alike."

"The food was superb! I loved the Hawaiian roll. I had the macadamia nut crusted catch of the day. My boyfriend had a Portuguese style seafood stew with a saffron broth. I'm not sure which I loved more. My fish came with coconut sweet potatoes, also excellent. The portions were very generous. For the two of us getting an appetizer (the option with calamari, Kobe beef and some sort of vegetarian spring roll) we had leftovers for breakfast. I would had liked to try the sushi optiOn for the appetizer. The beef and spring rolls were amazing, but the calamari was just good. Of course, being Wailea expect to pay an arm and a leg! As far as ambiance the restaurant was modern, great Hawaiian guitarist. There were many kids, not so romanti"

"fabulous recent re design of the space; wonderful food. was a particularly busy lunch day so service was a bit stretched but have been there on 2 other recent occasions when the service was top notch. will definitely go back!"

"Everything was outstanding. I thought Duo at the Four Seasons was the place to go but Ko made Duo look like a cafeteria. Wine list presented on an I-Pad was spectacular. The total presentation was perfect. Chef Tylan Pang and his team do it again!!"

"the lavendar crunchy shrimp with macadamian nuts was really just a fancier "Honey Walnut Prawn" but used macadamien nuts instead. Well prepared, but too costly for something so simple to make. I thought it would be something cooler than was it ended up being."
