  • "A 70th birthday celebration was all that we had hoped it would be - fun with delicious food and good conversation. The oysters were fresh and briny; the salads were varied and tasty; and the tuna tartare was a treat. Soft shell crabs turned out to be the winning entree, although the halibut came in a close second. Thanks to our server, Casey, the cocktails started off the evening with a reak kick and we never stopped going from there. he was very attentive, professional and helpful. We will be back."

  • "We have dined here many times and always enjoy our meals. The food from the menu is delicious and there are also nightly specials. Their wine list is exceptional and there is a full bar. We will continue to eat here throughout the summer and hope to introduce many friends to this restaurant."

  • "My wife, daughter, her fiance and myself had a wonderful dinner there Saturday night. I made the reservations on open table on Friday, it was so easy. The food was outstanding and so was the service. The server overheard my birthday toast to my daughter and at the end of the meal, much to our surprise she brought her a cupcake with a candle. As we were leaving the manager wished her a happy birthday. It was wonderful."

  • "Every time I'm here, my entire party ends up eating wayy too much because of how delicious the food is. Kudos to the chef! Additionally, the waitstaff is attentive, friendly, and full of suggestions."

  • "Waitress was excellent, she was busy but her service was great. She was very friendly and never cut us short. Food was ok. No one really raved about their dinner for the price we payed. I had veal chop stuffed with broccolili. Veal was very hard to cut. Don't know why. Had blueberry tart dessert but the crust was so hard I could not cut it, had to chop it with my fork. I've been to knife and fork 3-4 times and enjoyed the food but I rated my meal about 3star. My friends took their meals home. The filet and lobster meals were not that large that they could not eat them, don't know why they didn't finish them. They said the meal was excellent but they were full but still ordered dessert. I will come back because I really enjoy the ambience"

  • "Sides were terrific. Pork porterhouse was bland as was the pork chop. Soft shell was mushy Grilled octopus also lacking flavor Apple tart was terrible. Tasted either Burndt or coated with liqueur"

  • "Knife and Fork is easily one of our favorites in AC. There is valet parking and no need to go into a hotel. The food and service is great."
    Dined on 6/28/2014
  • "The service was poor at best, no bread until the meal was served, other people came in after us and got served first. The food was very good"

  • "Good apps. Good bread. Lobster tail was fair. Dessert very good. Drinks and wine very good."
    Dined on 6/28/2014
  • "I really enjoyed the atmosphere and they were quick to seat us. The food was a bit slow to come out but I was happy because we were not in a rush and it was a special occasion. The staff were great and the Lobster thermidor was amazing. Certainly recommend!"

  • "Heard so much about this place. I would say it was just o.k. Place has a very fishy odor when you walk up the stairs. Not sure if I would ever go back. My husband had the recommended PorterHouse Steak and he said it was just o.k. I had the chicken because I do not eat red meat and it was good but nothing special."

  • "Spent a delightful evening with old friends at the Knife and Fork. The restaurant has never failed to please me. Food was excellent, the drinks superb and our waiter, Omar , was great. Can't wait to go back."

  • "The menu has a good selection and based on dinners our party of three had, the food was very good, especially the lobster thermidor which was outstanding. Our waiter was very attentive and professional without being overbearing, and had a recommendation for a red wine special which we had. The wine was excellent and very reasonably priced. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Atlantic City!"

  • "Food was great. Waiter described it perfectly. Nice variety of menu. Seating needs to be redone."

  • "We enjoyed our first time dining experience. Had great cocktails made by Omar as well as his very personal attention all night. We started with sharing a freshly made shrimp/avacado cobb salad....loved it...Enjoyed my rack of lamb, better after it was reheated, hubby also enjoyed his filet after reheated......fried beet chips were very tasty! We would go back and try some dessert next time!"

  • "I have eaten there many of occasions and enjoyed it."

  • "Good food and great AC history! Neat building but a little noisy! Everything a la carte so gets expensive!"
    Dined on 6/17/2014
  • "We've dined here several times, each time usually outstanding. This past time, however, our food was just so-so. My Dad's filet was overdone, while mine was underdone and my Mothers Flounder dish didn't fit the description that was on the menu."
    Dined on 6/14/2014
  • "Wow, a waiter that steered us to a wonderful (and reasonable) bottle of wine! We'll take two thank you. Steaks were great, pork porterhouse special was outstanding. Nice sides (don't miss those beet chips), and salads too. Pretty rooms but the walk upstairs can be tricky for some (but again, the person who confirmed our reservation asked ahead of time if stairs would be a problem.) Pricey? I guess so, but I did not feel cheated like I have felt in some of the casino restaurants."

  • "We have gone to Knife and Fork many times over the years , at least 2-3 times each summer for the past 5 years and have always had a special evening. Not this time. I must say the food was as always great but the service this time was terrible. We were a party of 6 and the 45 minute wait between appetizers and main course was unacceptable . What was really wrong was that no one came to us to explain or apologize . My son final got up to ask the waitress when we would expect our meal! Where was the manager?? No apology or drinks or anything. My husband was furious and it was a very expensive dinner to say nothing of the aggravation."

  • "Through thick and thin, feast or famine in Atlantic City, you can depend on the Knife and Fork to deliver a tasteful dining experience."

  • "Everything about the Knife & Fork Inn was terrific. The valet for the valet parking was so polite and well dressed, our waiter (Todd) was knowledgeable and attentive and the food was delicious. We had an early reservation (6pm) and we were glad because we were able to see the beauty of the restaurant before it filled up with people. I had a whiskey sour which I rarely order because most places can't make one and it was great. At the table, hits included soups, scallops, porterhouse pork, mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts. We were too full for dessert. It was an early Father's Day dinner and we will be back the next time we are in Atlantic City. The Knife & Fork Inn is a special place."

  • "My lady and I recently ate at this place for our weekly date night. Looking to try something new in the Atlantic City area, we decided to give it a shot. Very pleasantly surprised! Knife and fork has that old school charm and relaxed atmosphere of a sophisticated I'm still restaurant. Perfect for an evening out or a romantic date night! The food was very good the service was even better! Top Notch servers and efficient wait staff made our meal very enjoyable. Don't forget to ask them about the wine deals!"

  • "Lobster dish - so so , Lobster Asparagus soup no taste whatsoever. Cowboy steak had to be sent back - chewy could not cut with knife. Veal chop entree and scallop appetizer excellent. Don't order a mixed drink - there was literally no liquor - had to order a shot to add to drink. Considering the price of the food you would think that they would not have to skimp on liquor. Not greeted upon arrival. Three young girls just standing at the hostess desk. Regulars taken right away. I would try the restaurant again -maybe. It was a Saturday evening so the main chef most probably was on that night. For the price, I expected much better."
    Dined on 5/31/2014
  • "It's not as good as expected. The price is much higher than what was offered."
