Kirby's Prime Steakhouse - The WoodlandsAmazing AnniversaryMy wife and I were celebrating our 16th anniversary and we could not have been more satisfied with our choice of restaurants. It was the first time we had ever been to Kirby's. We had made a reservation and were seated promptly. Our waiter was attentive, but not overbearing. The manager also took the time to stop by to ensure that all was well with our meals. We both had steaks which were delicious and filling. We also shared the sauteed muchrooms and the famous mashed potatoes. Surf and Turf was excellent - lobster was large and delicious, and steak was out of this world. They also did a wonderful birthday dessert, a chocolate cinnamon cake with ice cream that was large enough for everyone to get a portion, complementary. The food was execellent and the service was efficient and reasonably quick. The only downside was the noise level. We arrived at 7:45pm on a Monday night and it was quite noisey with about 3/4 occupancy. Amazingly well versed. Dinner was perfect. Manager stopped by to wish us well on the occassion and brought a card with future gift card enclosed. The personal touch in addition to a hugh birthday cake and ice cream to celebrate complimentary which all was totally unexpected. I would highly recommend. Noise level was fine not as quiet as usual because of prom and iron man participants we're in town so it was full. Parking was at a premium for a Tuesday night, that was the only hiccup.

We were celebrating my husband's birthday, and his choice of dessert on the house was incredible. His favorite dish is creme brulee--he said it was the best he's ever had. When we requested a different table, she informed us that the tables were reserved in order of importance, implying that we were not important enough to warrant another table.
