KingswoodSister to EverleighWe love their LA restaurant, and were pleasantly surprise there was a NY owned restaurant as well.....great night, great food, great neighborhood location, and the staff was just fantastic-5/14/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat brunch! We really enjoyed Mother's Day brunch at Kingswood. All of the options were delicious and we were very satisfied with our "Big Breakfast" (eggs, bacon, maple sausage, potatoes, biscuit!), French toast with caramelized bananas, and Eggs Benedict (although I wish that had been served on a biscuit.) The ambiance was lovely and I especially appreciated how it was not loud at all - we could actually hear each other and pleasant music in the background. We will be back!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMWent here for Easter SundayWent here for Easter Sunday brunch. We were seated at a communal table which isn't my favorite but was fine for our group of 5. The banana bread was the best part. The main brunch entrees of omelettes and fried egg sandwiches were what you would expect. Everyone enjoyed the brunch drinks as well.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMKingswood was outstanding.Kingswood was outstanding. The brussel sprouts with maple syrup and bacon are a favorite as well as the steak.3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMGood food, terrible wine choicesKingswood is a great little place. The noise level only started picking up towards the end of the evening as it got fuller, but compared to other NYC restaurants this wasn't too loud.
The food was tasty and very inventive, although very small for the price tag - ouch! We were dissapointed that they only had 3 wines available on their winelist, and then the wine they did have (Australian Shiraz) we wanted to order another bottle of - they ran out of. Considering they are an Australian owned I would've expected Kingswood to have a fabulous wine list. They need to get that fixed.2/1/2013 12:00:00 AM
