Jenny and the guy with her were
both TERRIFIC. She was totally helpful, quick and a delight to speak with. A server like that can make the whole experience more pleasurable."

This restaurant is wonderful. The
hostess Emily was very pleasant and seated us quickly to our table. Our waitress Danielle was friendly and made our dining experience fun. The food is to die for! We all had omelets and Mimosas and bought beautiful cookies to take home. Great place!"

I would highly recommend for
brunch. Great food in a spacious setting. Had brunch with 4 adults and 3 kids, and our table was quite spacious. The food was excellent, and the service was attentive. The only minor flaw was that all of our food did not come our at the same time, but the kids food came first which was good."

While everything sounded great on
the regular menu, I would strongly encourage you to try the French toast special. It changes, but this week it was a decadent chocolate, strawberry, crème anglaise creation. It was so gorgeously presented that I hesitated digging in. Others at the table got the Café breakfast and the Moo, Cluck, sandwich. All of which were delicious and well executed. We would definitely return to try other items. Oh--we did have a peanut butter muffin for "dessert" that was a peanut butter lover's paradise. WOW! You must try one of their baked goods, too."

We enjoyed the deviled egg
appetizer, quinoa with kale and sunny-side-up eggs, lemon-blueberry pancakes, steak and peppers sandwich, along with a side of maple-glazed bacon, melon-ginger fruit drink and Ethiopian drip coffee. All was delicious, with great service. The fresh baked bread was wonderful. The food was very high quality, well prepared and well presented. Nice artwork on the walls, and well-lit with big sunny windows in the front of the restaurant."

this was my 2nd time at Kingsbury
st cafe. I ordered the BALT sandwich.. OMG! SOOOOO GOOD! my husband ordered the burger, he asked for it to be prepared "medium" it came out "well done" the burger also wasn't seasoned well"

The food was great, with a
different, special touch. They did not rush us, even though it was busy. Lemon pancakes and hash are delicious!"
Dined on 2/9/2014
The food is fresh and presented
perfectly. I've been three times now and have has the seasonal pumpkin pancakes, chilequiles, and the weekend French toast special with pears, apricots and mascarpone. They have a delicious drink menu as well from mimosas and bloodys to adult coffee."

Saturday was my second visit to
kingsbury. I only have amazing things to say about both of my experiences. The first time I got the salmon hash, the second the dark chocolate stuffed French toast. Both were some if the best brunch food I have ever had. On top of that, the service was also incredible. I will recommend kingsbury and I will for sure be returning. Thank you!"

We all loved our choices including
the chilaquiles. One of us has very special dietary needs and she really enjoyed her sandwich."

It was very nice yo have brunch
here. We really loved the healthy dishes like quinoa salad and Vietnamese salad, and also the more decadent dishes like lemon pancakes and French toast stuffed with chocolate. It was so nice that they accommodated our big party, and also added more tables as needed. Overall a pleasant and accommodating experience, will keep coming back for sure."

After seeing the restaurant
reviewed on Check Please, I wanted to go and convinced my tennis buddies to try it. I think we were all pleased, except the one gal whose order was very delayed. Portions are large, great for sharing."

I had the Pork Belly sandwich, the
meat was perfectly cooked, although I was a bit disappointed by the portion and fat content. Bar drinks were delicious and desert is a must. Drinks took longer than expected to come out, and the servers/staff need to learn that is is considered rude to pick up plates until all parties have finished eating. We were approached twice before I finally just have up and had them take my plate on the third time. I have also dined in the outdoor over the summer and can say it was a wonderful experience."
Dined on 12/24/2013
Food was excellent but a little
pricey for everyday. Love the space."
Dined on 11/3/2013
The menu is unique.....not typical
breakfast food. Everything we ordered was excellent. I saw a review on TV and had to go....well worth the trip to the city. Would definately go back!"
Dined on 12/15/2013
I will start out with the
positive. it was new, parking valet for only $4 and the menu was different than the average breakfast lunch. On the negative side, it was really cold! We sat near the door and everytime the door opened we would grab our coats. The cold air cooled off our food, too so we had to eat fast. The biggest negative was the noise level. It's an extremely LOUD room with no noise buffers. Our conversation was limited because we had to yell across the table (six of us) to be heard. Maybe going in the summer would be better since I saw seating for outdoors. Unfortunately, we would not return."

I saw this restaurant featured on
one of the local TV stations and decided to try it soon after. I was delighted with the food overall but was disappointed that the restaurant serves frozen french fries ! After the hype about the pastries(they are baked in house) I was very disappointed by the selections offered. I was told that many things sell out immediately after breakfast. The pastries are large, very heavy handed, nothing light or delicate here….. There was a shortage of waitstaff. our waitress was very pleasant but forgetful. We had to remind her of several things lacking and it took some time before she came back to refill coffee, etc I will go back for the excellent entrees but not a place i would go to for coffee and dessert."
Dined on 11/5/2013
Well we went during the weekday,
while it was was not bad food wise. We were told that the French menu is better. This is only available during the weekends for brunch. We hope to return during the weekend for the Dark chocolate french toast and the Salmon hash!!!"

The service was really wonderful
and attentive. The server was very friendly and another server that was not covering our table stopped by a number of times to make sure that we were okay and check if we needed anything. It was very nice. My hamburger was overdone but I had already sent my order back once because it was the wrong thing and I didn't bother. It was just overdone but the presentation and the bread were very pleasant."

Saw it on check Please WTTW. Took
two daughters there both are aspiring chefs 16-17 years old. Food was ok ,over priced and served cold."
Dined on 11/8/2013
I love this place - the food is
always perfect, the service as well. It would make a great place for lunch or brunch with friends - but I suggest going after the prime lunch hour since when the room is full the space is beyond noisy - it's pretty much impossible to hear your dining companions if there are more than two of you noise to noise.... Maybe they could do something about this by putting up rugs or textiles on the walls - ANyway, that comment has nothing to do with the food, which is good and the service, which is good - so go but be forewarned about the noise level."

Excellent food options for
celiacs. Good coffee, great menu, too bad about the noise level - it's deafening!"
Dined on 9/14/2013
Great breakfast/brunch spot. One
of the top 3-5 places for breakfast in the city. Amazing lemon pancakes and awesome French toast. One of our favorite spots. Great $4 parking lot next door really helps."

We went with a large group of 10
and the service was great. The menu is very unique and all items were delicious! Will definitely go back ! :)"

The food here is great, that's the
only thing that keeps bringing me back (plus its convenient location to wf). The service is horrible. I've been 3 times and each time I have waited at least 20 minutes before a waiter showed up..and that was only because we waved someone down. Each time they have said that they are not our waiter , but would find out who was and when the new person arrived, that person said they didn't know we were their table . And no apologies for the long wait/bad service. Once you get your order in, food comes quickly. The noise level inside is horrible. Unbearable really. Terrible acoustics. The only way to eat here is if you can eat outside. I won't be going in the winter...unless they change the acoustics inside."

Everything on the menu looks
delicious and what I ordered was. Great brunch location. Don't miss it."

Had breakfast on Friday. We ate
out doors and had nice quiet breakfast. Food was very good and came out piping hot. Service could not have been better. Came back on Sunday for brunch and ate indoors and had the same experience. I had eggs and friend had pancakes. Could not have been better. A little on the pricey side but portions are very large. The indoors is a little noisy, but that is only negative thing I can come up with. Really customer first attitude by everyone."

Absolutely amazing food! The lemon
pancakes are what dreams are made of. Everyone in my party loved what they got; my Croque Madame was lovely (and I eat them as often as possible). Definitely will be returning. I wouldn't know what to call this neighborhood... It's not close to anything besides a huge Whole Foods? That aspect can throw you off, wish there was more around it"

Lunch was delicious at Kingsbury
Street Cafe. Our salads were made from fresh, home-made ingredients, not bottled dressings. The portions were large, the service very attentive. Wished I could have tried the baked goods - they looked fabulous as well. I guess that's a reason to return!"
Dined on 5/31/2013
Tried this place for breakfast. It
is quite busy on the weekends and holidays, so don't go there thinking you are going to have a quiet meal. The food is very good and the service was just fine. There is a nice parking lot next door for $4. Would recommend it, just be prepared for the noise level."

I wanted a cute brunch spot where
I could ask my best friends to be my bridesmaids and I could not have imagined a better place than Kingsbury Street Cafe. The staff was so friendly and attentive, our omelets and drinks were delicious and the atmosphere was peaceful and just lovely."

I was very disappointed. We went
on a Friday morning. There were just a few tables busy, but I had to ask for coffee several times. The food was all just a little too sweet. Savory items had a sweetness to them.including the fingerling potatoes and cheese scones. They didn't have tomato juice so I had to order a virgin mary which was double what a juice should have been. Would not go back there."

Great neighborhood brunch spot!
Parking is $4 next door to VIP's, as street parking is minimal. The food was great! Will definitely be back. I had the egg white omelette, and the filling options were endless and delicious! My friend had the salmon hash, which I highly recommend. The "hash" is made from homemade tater tots! They were perfectly crunchy and not the least bit greasy. There is a pastry counter as soon as you walk in, and the pastries look delicious. It was my b-day and they gave me a chocolate cupcake w/ fresh strawberry frosting. I don't usually like frosting, but this tasted nothing like traditional frosting. It truly tasted like mashed up strawberries w/ a hint of fresh cream!"

A bright, sunny space to enjoy a
pre-spring lunch. Love the bakery-delight case that welcomes guests as they come into the door.... Cutest little chicks in nests and bunny cookies for Easter, just delightful. Enjoyed a delicious quinoa salad, topped it with a piece of seared salmon, yum. Truly is a neighborhood gem...convenient parking in lot next door is a plus."
Dined on 3/22/2013
The food and service were
fantastic. I was impressed by how fresh the fruits and vegetables were."
