We were seated right away at a nice big round table. Since it was later, the restaurant was fairly quiet, so we could easily talk. We shared some appetizers and everyone enjoyed their food. King Fish is a great blend between Nola style food and contemporary American. The staff is great and very attentive. Great ambiance with fun jazz and soul inspired art adorning the walls.

Fresh oysters were very fresh and tasty. Husband had the scallops and prawns which were delicious. The lobster ravioli was good however the lobster pieces were quite small. My wife's prime rib was quite good, average presentation. The wine list is first rate.
But the NY steak I had was tough as shoe leather, and although I was very hungry, just couldn't finish it. To their credit, the restaurant eliminated the charge and comped us with a nice dessert. Manager chose not to visit us; this is a serious mistake. Even though the wait staff was efficient, apologetic and courteous, I felt that management should have spoken with us, even if only for a few seconds. We got to sit in a nice quiet area and talk to our hearts' content. The service was attentive but not pushy. We all enjoyed our food.
