Diner Reviews
  • "I was a little questionable about coming to this place, but so glad we did. We had he potato pancakes and a sampler platter and the food was delicious. The only thing I did not get to try was the cabbage rolls, buy hey .... I have to save something for my next visit. Our waitress was outstanding. She was there when we needed her and not hovering when we didn't. She gave good food and drink recommendations and gave us a tour of the basement of this historic building. It was a very nice dinner."

  • "This was our first visit and found metered parking up front. We've been to lounges and know they range from upscale to grunge, so my first impression was that it was a heavily used dance hall/bar-since the furniture seem scattered and sparse. But got a very nice greeting from Katarina. She offered us a tour to allow us time to choose where to eat. After getting a short tour of the historic building (millionaire turned brothel-with "call" buttons), we decided to eat outside in what looked like a beer garden area. As for the food it was DELICIOUS! AWESOME Polish sausage plate and OUT OF THIS WORLD fried pierogies! I asked for the cook's name and Katarina said it was Milinka, so we'll definitely head back when Milinka's cooking! "

  • "Amazing food but it's a bar. So if your looking for a nice, quiet, romantic dinner, this is not the place. Although the food is fabulous!!!!"

  • "We love Polish food, but the food here is so-so. Goulash had only a few small pieces of meat -- just a large helping of mashed potatoes and some sauce. Potato pancakes OK. Kielbasa dinner OK. Gołąbki OK. Nothing was all that great."

  • "I grew up eating wiener schnitzel and miss it over the years. Kinga does a great job with classic Polish/German style hearty meal items. This is a lounge/bar that has informal table seating in and above the bar area."

  • "If you want a good selection of beers and vodka at a reasonable price this place is great. If you want authentic polish food pay more and go to crackovia. It took over an hour for our food to come out."

  • "The food was just mediocre. Fun menu with Polish language throughout. Excellent appetizers and real Polish beer! Had to ask the server to turn down the speakers (from the bar) so we could converse and hear each other."

  • "The pictures on the website make it look like a fun sports bar. Now maybe it is we went around 6 pm on a Sunday (during Bronco season) so it was pretty empty. The girl who served of us may have been just having a bad day or something but was not to friendly and as people new to polish dining she was not helpful in making a decision about our food or helping with info and selections. We did not get to see this club or whatever it is down below. The food was good. My husband loved the kielbasa sandwich. I tried the goulash (mound of potatoes with tiny chunks of meat, 6 slivers of onion topped with a bunch of sauce.) It was good but I would not recommend it to others. I would try something else on the menu. Still looking forward to a 2nd visit"

  • "Our first time here to have classic Polish food. Unfortunately 3 of 4 items we wanted to try were unavailable. White borscht soup, gowumpka, and goulash were MIA. We settled on two servings of schnitzel with the Polish sampler platter. Waitress was very apologetic for decimated menu and comp'd us a round of beers for our trouble. Food was very tasty and authentically European. Just wish we could have tried those missing items which we were set on ordering after previewing the menu when making our online reservations."

  • "The food was really good, but the atmosphere was a little different. I guess I would describe it as a bit cold. The deep fried pierogies were amazing though! I was disappointed that smoking was allowed on both the patiosbecause it didn't give me an outdoor option."

  • "Kinga's has good Polish food, so you should come here to eat, not just to drink. I'm bummed that they no longer have the Polish donut dessert, but other than that, the menu is fine. I enjoy the Polish platter, so that you can sample a bunch of different items rather than having to pick just one dish. They do have a good selection of native beers as well as all of the vodkas. Try this place for a little something different than what you normally eat."

  • "Food is delicious and just like my mother used to make. We started with golumbki and then shared the sampler platter. We'll be back."

  • "This was a great place for a meal and a drink before catching a show at the Ogden. Unfortunately, the smokers on the patio drove us indoors, but it was still a nice little pub with fantastic food and good service."

  • "Bar scene in the front, small restaurant dining room in the back. You'll probably want reservations if you want to be sure to get a table, as there aren't very many, and the alternative of eating in the bar may not be ideal for some parties. Food was good, I've had better Polish food in town, but it was also a lot more expensive than this. I wished that the music piped in from the bar downstairs wasn't quite so loud in the dining room. Overall a great experience."

  • "Food was excellent, service was very good, I downgraded only because of the entrance (patrons walk into a somewhat sketchy Colfax bar scene before being led to the back of the establishment where the restsurant is) and, unfortunately, the night we were there, an extremely loud twelve-top of wannabe hipsters completely dominated the small restaurant to the point that we couldn't have casual conversation and were having a hard time understanding our servers with their authentic Polish accents. Again, not the restaurants fault, just unfortunate as it was a big negative on an otherwise very good experience."

  • "I had the sampler platter and was very surprised how tasty all of the items were! The place is definitely more of a bar, with an upstairs that serves as a restaurant. At first we sat upstairs but moved down to the bar area because it was more happening and comfortable. The food was delicous and there were reasonable priced Polish beers. I would visit Kinga's again for sure."

  • "The food was less than average and uninspired. No draft beer. Food presentation was not good. Our server was first rate and really tried to make the experience a good one."

  • "The dinner was definitely different. The Perogi's had too much bacon and onions for my liking but were tasty and there was enough for a dinner. Anxious to try the sausages I took home. The have Poker on Wed nights (Denver Poker Tour) so I might try that group to see how they play."

  • "First time there and we'll return. Our waiter tried to sevice way too many tables. The food was quite authentic and delicious. Beautiful outdoor area."

  • "This was our first -and last - visit to this restaurant. You enter on the first floor. There is a bar area, then climb the stairs to the very small dinning room. Seated in it was a party of 8 and an other 6 people with 2 small children running around. There was so much noise that there was no way for the 2 couples at our table to have a conversation. It was a major effort to try and communicate with the waitress. We were thinking about asking to be moved, but there were no other tables or rooms. The food was average, but cold. We ate fast and left in a hurry. Not a good experience."

  • "The food wasn't bad and they have two patios. Sadly, they were out of stuffed cabbage that night. The garden patio is lovely but we ate on the patio on Colfax and it made the experience really loud and hectic. I would go again only if I ate inside or in the garden."
