Kincaid's - RedondoGreat Bar AreaWe had a 7:45 pm reservation but arrived about an hour early, so we went in the bar to have a drink. They serve the whole menu there plus a pretty extensive list of appetizers that include some really tasty samplers. We never made it to the dining room. The views are great! To the east you can enjoy views of the pier and to the south and west, the dining room has awesome views of the Pacific. It's a little pricey but makes for a nice treat every once in awhile. As far as the bar goes, I ordered an Old Fashioned and my wife had a Vodka and soda. No short pours on the drinks, and the Old Fashioned was the best I've had so far.6/15/2013 12:00:00 AMBirthday CelebrationWe had not been to Kincaid's for several years. We take each other out for our birthdays by going to a variety of restaurants. We were greeted and seated immediately. The waitress came quickly to welcome us. They had a "Happy Birthday" card for my girlfriend. We were pleasantly surprised at the new menu choices and selected the recommended entree which was excellent. The steelhead salmon with stuffed crab was delicious.
After our meal, the restaurant provided a dessert with birthday candle. We had coffee and shared the dessert.
Suggestion: Prepay for three hours of parking so you don't worry about the time. We haven't eaten at Kincaid's for awhile (saving money) so decided to use my mom's bday as an excuse to go there again. Made online reservation with the note it was my mom's bday, which worked out flawlessly. We were quickly seated and server was helpful with specials. All the food was well prepared & nicely presented. We had grilled salmon, filet mignon, lobster, fish & chips, & prime ribs -- everything was perfectly cooked & came out together. They were very accommodating to substitute the potatoes for asparagus with my son's filet. We made reservations through a seperate website. Upon our arrival, we were seated within ten minutes. This was great, as the restaurant was very busy. We sat with a view of the pier and the ocean, which was very lovely. The interior was beautiful and lively. We had a server who was AWESOME! I wish I remembered his name. He made my mom feel very special and I was very happy about that. My mom and I ordered the same dish, a seafood variety inside of a crepe...delicious!! My spouse ordered a seafood salad which she loved.
I would highly recommend this restaurant for a romantic dinner for two or a fun brunch/lunch with friends.

Service was great, food was fantastic and the view was nice. Great place for special occasions. We had lobster tail, prime rib and I had the special fish of the day, "Steelhead" - it was delicious! They even brought out 2 desserts with a candle, for us to share. The food was prepared, presented, and served to delight all who attended, I ordered the Lobster and was so happy with my choice. All had glowing praise for the different meals that they all ordered. This was not our first visit and will surly not be our last. Thank you for all of what seemed like special attention. We did enjoy our time together with Kincaid's help.
