  • "We celebrated a birthday here and it was great. We come here often. The Broadway Pea Salad is the best...even if you think you don't like peas! They took it off the menu once and we stopped going because a trip to Kincaids has got to include pea salad. Everything was perfect!"

  • "The Lobster bisque was excellent (and very rich, as a good lobster bisque should be). The pork shank in a spicy/sweet sauce was amazing! The burger, not so great - likely was made with very lean beef, and accordingly, tasted kind of dry and flavorless. But how can you beat sitting on the dock watching the sun set over the ocean, even on a windy evening?"

  • "Normally my bf &I come during latr h.hr & we usually get the quirky amber whom we like, but this time we got a employee in training, which I guess I should understand. She was nice but kept repeating that she was training.. I don't care! I wanted a straw which took her what seemed like 5mins to deliver (strike one), when we wanted horseradish , which they forgot to put w/out oyster order we couldn't find her for the longest time (strike 2), when we paid I wanted her to look up out rewards card she squinted her face like she ah p didn't know what I was talking bout (strike 3).oy last nite sucked!!"

  • "As a frequent customer, the food and ambience is fantastic. However, as I've experienced regularly, the service needs a little help. However, servers seem to take forever to acknowledge that you've sat down. Servers regularly forget to get something that I had asked for. On this past occassion and previously I've had to wait for 10 min or more after I gave my payment to get my credit card back. I've also had them forget my card altogether only to come by my table a few minutes later to ask me if I needed anything else...my credit card returned to me would be nice. For such a nice restaurant with such great food, it's a shame that the service is not up to par. If it weren't for the amazing food, I'd find it hard to come back regularly."

  • "We arrived before our reservation, so we sat at the bar. The service and food was very good. However, once we were seated, the service was marginal. Long waits in between the waiter stopping in. And from time of placing the food order to delivery, it was well over 30 minutes. We even had to ask the waiter about the order, he did not pro-activley follow-up on it. I would say you are paying a premium for the location, but the food and service overall are nothing spectacular."

  • "I have been to $ and $$$$ restaurants and this was the worst good I've had. My crab and steak slider was supper dry with no sauce on old bread. I'm not sure how it's possible but the sweat potato fries tasted as if it was fried in spoiled oil. The food took ~ 45 mins to come out on a saturday afternoon around 2pm when the place was mostly empty! I live around there and I'm never going back."

  • "The food was good as always. We had the Seared Ahi and the Rockfish specials. Seared Ahi came as 5 or 6 slices with a deep fried rice ball. The Ahi was of good quality fish and not stringy. The Rockfish was moist and the sauce was good. The coconut risotto was not ovepoweringly coconut flavored which I liked, although the texture was a bit rubbery. Also had the organic salad which is our favorite. Dressing is light and the spring rolls goes well with the salad. Service was disappointing even though it was not crowded early on a Sunday evening."

  • "When we were in bar area we did not have good service Took 15 mins to get our drinks and 30 mins to get a slider appetizer Thnak God we were able to transfer our check to dinner table as that would gave taken a long time THEN once at dinner table service and speed of food was fantastic !   • "I usually have lunch here, on this night, I brought an out of town friend to dinner. Overall, the experience was good. The waiter wasn't very knowledgeable about the food selection (nor the wine). I ordered raw oysters: she didn't know where they came from. Most places the waiter would know. The lobster was over-seasoned with Cajun spices (which was not listed on the menu): it just said "wood grilled." We had to send the lobster back, and served without the spices. It came back quickly with the manager apologizing. Again, when asked about fish recommendations, the waiter didn't have any suggestions. "How's the rockfish?" "Good," she replied. "Where's the fish from?" I asked."

  • "We waited over an hour for our meal and when we were finally served it was not not. And with sub standard quality of meat. The waiter kept tell us that they were working on our meal and that it would be right up. An hour later the meal was served but it was only warm. Would not have expected to get a tough piece of Prime Rib there."

  • "Server was rushed and impersonal, wait was way too long for the food and appetizers. My 83 year mom was with us & staff kept bumping into her wheelchair and didn't even apologize! We were celebrating 2 birthdays and we were both members of your dining club and were supposed to both get $20 off the bill but only 1 $20 credit was allowed on a $422 total bill. It was embarassing to have to go over this in front of my guests with server Devon, who could have cared less. He apologized but it wasn't sincere and we both alerted him to our assumed discount when we were seated so wondering why he didn't tell us then we could only use 1 credit. He should have allowed it for customer service. $422, 2 1/2 hours and food not worth the price!"

  • "Met the girls for lunch and asked for a window table with a view. Beautiful day with great views. Good service. The group had the Crab Louie and Tacos and both were excellent. The little corn muffins they bring to the table were great and we asked for more. Waitress was very helpful with selection of what to drink and dishes to order.   • "I have been at Kincaid's twice in the last month. They have a great view and good food, the issue is it takes forever to get a drink prior to ordering which also takes a long time. Then there is the huge delay in the food coming. You almost think of leaving. Then we went back thinking it was a fluke, but no, the exact same situation. It really didn't look all that busy. Will probably not revisit the chart house has a great view."

  • "They recently changed their menu for the better. We had a delicious filet mignon. Their sides were great as well. Delicious butternut squash in a vanilla butter sauce. I wouldn't have thought I liked butternut squash but the way they prepared it was yummy. I really miss the delicious bread they used to serve that had sunflower seeds in it. They now serve bread that's pre-buttered and tastes very greasy to me. I wish they'd bring back the other bread as that was some of the best part of the meal. The creme brulee is the best around. Our server, Lev, is always so friendly and his service is outstanding. He makes the dining experience that much better."

  • "After attending a wonderful play, the four of us headed for Kincaid's for dinner and drinks. The end of the storm was still pushing good sized waves over the breakwater which made for some spectacular scenes while we dined. The food was excellent, my fresh Rockfish was prepared just right and the others at the table enjoyed their choices as well. The wine was excellent and the wait in the bar was enjoyable as well. Planning to return on a sunny day!"

  • "The food at Kincaids was only fair. It tasted massed produced but the prices were quite high. The wine prices were also inflated. a bottle of Chardonnay that sells at Vons for $10.00 is over $30.00 and a Zin was four times the retail price. I'm sure they get a lot of tourist traffic but little local repeat business. Too bad as the location is nice and the wait staff was better than average."

  • "I decided to celebrate Valentine's on the 13th of February. My reservation was at 4:45. This was a perfect time. The Sun started setting about 5:15. The staff came to all the windows and raised the window coverings to expose the incredible light of the Sun off the water. My girl had never been to Kinciad's, but this sealed a demand for a return visit. The food was also very well done. I would recommend any person looking for that special, romantic place to give Kinciad's a try."

  • "The restaurant has gotten very tired. Odor of carpets needing to be cleaned, broken marble table top corners, worn finish on chairs, chipped paint on windows. Food was ordinary at best. Shrimp on steak and shrimp sandwich was undercooked. This was once a nice restaurant. Sad."
