Dependably excellent every time we dine here! This visit, we had our go-to first courses of Caesar Salad and New England Clam Chowder Soup - nobody does the soup as well as Kincaid's does it. My husband pronounced the halibut special he ordered the best halibut dish he's ever eaten. I was over-the-moon about the wild salmon entree I chose. It came with potato hash that was both creamy and crunchy. Delish. Love this place.

Chose this restaurant based on Trip Advisor and Urban Spoon reviews. We weren't disappointed. The food was excellent and served piping hot. We ordered the North Atlantic lobster tail and a petite cut of Prime Rib. They split a salad for us upon request and the water glasses were never more than half empty. Great service. Great wine list. The wait staff is very competent and a super friendly. A super nice atmosphere for a quiet dinner. It is above average cost-wise, but you get what you pay for...

We went t Kincaid's for our 24th wedding anniversary. One of our 1st dates was at Kincaid's and that was a wonderful experience. I have eaten at Kincaid's several times since our 1st visit, but none on the last 10 years. However this was the most disappointing experience we have had. We had the Scallops from the menu and the Halibut from the Special, both were breaded and both were cooked to the consistency of winter air, i.e. cold & dry. We go out to restaurants in the TC pretty often and I would rate the food at Kincaid's as less than what you would get at any national chain place like, TGIF, or Applebee's. When you are paying a few hundred dollars for a meal, it really should be exceptional, not food court quality.

I've been coming to Kincaids for nearly 20 years, and have watched it go through numerous menu changes. This last visit was one of the best, with excellent food (likely the best NE clam chowder in the Twin Cities), good wait staff, and a good wine selection. The bar is still one of my favorites in the TCs. Our selections (scallops perfectly cooked, medium rare prime rib that was actually mr and just enough fat for good flavor, and a spicy etouffe with all the seafoods cooked to perfection and the kale and grits nicely done) were all memorable. I will continue to take visiting friends and colleagues to this restaurant, and as well continue to enjoy many more quality family dinners.

Our waitress, Yolanda, was delightful. Very friendly and efficient. The triple meal special is a good deal, however, I won't get it again. The steak was a little tough, . The shrimp were spicy, but good, and the salmon was very good. I love the atmosphere and the service. Will still keep coming back.

Kincaid's is a beautiful place. I had brunch with my husband and son. The food selection was good. I ordered the Wellington, which I don't think I would order again. It had a bit of a undercooked doughy taste. My husband ordered the Monte Cristo and was not impressed. The batter on the outside was way too thick and his andoullie sausage didn't taste good. We all had rosemary potatoes and nobody liked those. They seemed too heavily seasoned. We did love the blueberry muffins we had ahead of time.

The restaurant was good but the experience was okay not anything special like I was hoping for it to be on our anniversary night. The food was fair but not great. I had the Kincaid's prime rib and that was good but the wife had one of the fish and the way it was prepare was not so good. It had to much butter or oil and that made the fish way to grease for her liking, end result she didn't even touch it. Over all the restaurant wasn't to bad, server was great so it make the dinning there pleasant.

I have eaten several times at Kincaid's. This was the most disappointing experience I have had. Lettuce on my salad was wilted and brown on the edges. Two of my guests had the Cobb salad. It was mostly lettuce with very little of the additions to make it a Cobb salad. The kitchen needs to be aware of the condition of lettuce and also re-think the ingredients in the Cobb salad.

All I need to say is they acknowledged us when we came in and gave us a card with mr & mrs on it congratulating us. Our table was small and to our liking where we could have a conversation, and look out into their outdoor court yard. Our waiter was attentive, made suggestions, humorous, our food was delicious and they gave us a dessert on the house. It was very Special!

We celebrated our third wedding anniversary and took advantage of Kincaid's Date Night menu. I took my wife out for a belated birthday dinner to Kincaids based on a friends recommendation. The service was great! Our server apologized up front that the kitchen was a bit behind. We still ended up getting our food in 20 minutes. I ordered the prime rib and my wife ordered the parmesan crusted halibut. The prime rib was very good, and the halibut was amazing! Our server surprised us with crème brule, which was incredibly tasty. I have never had it and was hesitant to try it. I ended up eating half of it. Overall fantastic experience and we look forward to going back.

We went to have my wife's last meal before surgery (double knee replacement) her next meal was broth 24 hours later. My wife's meal was quite disappointing-it was halibut that had been drenched in a broth. This makes us think twice about returning. We really don't understand what the chef was drinking when he made this entre. The good news was the surgery went well the next day.

I ordered the Trio special , and really liked the prawns and the salmon. However, since I'm not a fan of "smoked" flavor, I didn't care for the filet. Sarah was so sweet and offered to replace the steak with some prime rib. It was very good. The atmosphere , and service, as usual, were wonderful. We always love to go to Kincaid's. Because I am Gluten Sensitive, I ordered some fresh strawberries with whipping cream and hot fudge. It was excellent. I would have loved to have the Halibut, but can't eat breadcrumbs. Maybe some day the chef will try to make it with gluten free flour and breadcrumbs. My significant other , loved it, as well as the chocolate dessert he ordered.

I took my husband to Kincaid's for his birthday. We ordered a drink and a glass of wine before dinner. They have a good bourbon selection and a very nice wine list. Our server, Jay, was amazing. He recommended food choices based on our conversation and was spot on! The special that night was asiago halibut over smashed potatoes and asparagus that was absolutely terrific. Everything was wonderful, friendly service, Best steak I ever had. It was perfect fit for our anniversary date. Thank you for making this special. The only bad thing was the use of garlic was a little over powering, not during the meal, but 3 hours later it was still with us and in a way that a simple breath mint could not fix. I think it may of been the garlic butter on the bread. but not sure. We will be back.
