A minimum is required for the exclusive use of the back dining room area. Our chef's table located just off the kitchen accommodates from 6-10 guests and is rapidly becoming a very popular room for that small memorable occasion. No minimum is required for the Chef's table.

  • "Both my husband and I ordered the tasting course with wine. He doesn't usually go for this feature, preferring to order off the menu and pick at what I allow from my courses. This time he did and was quite impressed. My only disappointment was the Halibut with a tomatoe cream sauce that was a little heavy on the smoke flavour. Everything else was fantastic. It was quite a busy night so the table service suffered a bit but not to the point where it was annoying. This is our go to restaurant for food and ambience whether by ourselves, with family or friends."

  • "The perfect dinner. The beet salad was delicious- golden and red beets with two small fried goat cheese balls. The king salmon was unbelievable. I eat a lot of salmon; the serving size generous, cooked perfectly and the drizzle of sauce on top delicious. A great dining experience. Jerzy, our server was very on top of everything."

  • "The King Salmon was fresh and the leak and mushroom sauce served with it was delicious. My friends ordered the Filet Minjon and said it was one of the best they have tasted. The potatoes serviced with our dishes was very creamy. We also ordered the oysters for an appetizer and definitely recommend this dish as well. The service was outstanding, our waiter and bus staff were very accommodating and pleasant. We also enjoyed the olive bread."

  • "While the food and service were equal to the cost of the food, the back room where we ate dinner was so cold we had to eat with our coats on. The waitress never asked if we were cold and only when we asked if the heat could be turned up so we could enjoy our meal did she note that it was colder in our area then the other part of the establishment."

  • "I remember this restaurant back when it was still Gesine's. The food is still amazing. We had the 5-course meal. The wine pairings were perfect. The proportions seemed small at first glance, but after 5 courses we ended up pleasantly full without that overstuffed feeling. Every course was wonderful, beautifully presented, and the serving staff were some of the best I've ever seen anywhere. The prices are on the high side, but if you are looking for a special night out, this is definitely the place. The only drawback is the location. While they have done wonders with what they have, it is still a small place in a strip mall. The food is worthy of much more."

Great food, from the bread, to the soup (I had the turnip with scallop) to a great salmon preperation. Great service too; got a great recommendation on a wine to match the meal."

If you can plan ahead, however, this restaurant cannot be beat for a special occasion. For my birthday dinner, we both ordered the chef's weekly special during Mardi Gras week, and all 5 courses were exceptionally prepared and presented. Kincaid Grill will certainly be on the top of our list for our next special dinner out."

  • "For someone who averages 2+ dinners a week at the better fine dining places it was unusual that we haven't been here in months, but on a whim decided to try it for my pre-valentine dinner. What a great choice! Talk about a perfect dinner! Despite a tempting array of choices on the menu, we went with the recommendation of the diners at the table next to us and opted for the five course dinner. It was great! Each course was prepared to perfection and perfectly matched with wines that complemented the food, I never would have thought to try tomato basil soup with sparkling wine...and if it sounds crazy then you have to go to Kincaid Grill and try it!!! We will definately be back - and a lot more often. It's now on my list of top 5 restaurants"

  • "We were a party of six ready to enjoy a quality meal. If you are in a rush, do not go there. The service was a relaxing pace, no hurry or rush to get you back out the door. The food was perfect, steaks were perfect ( very rare it have that happen, I've sent my share of steaks back due to being over cooked.). Quality service and I don't feel the prices were high for the quality of food and service. I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys a relaxing, delicious meal."

  • "Beautiful upscale dining in a rather "low scale" strip mall. The outside of the restaurant is not at all inviting or appetizing, so we were pleasantly surprised once we were inside. The ambiance, service, menu, wine list, and food were all wonderful. They even brought out a dessert with a candle in honor of my husband's birthday. We will be back and have already recommended to our friends."

Yeah, I know, somebody has the set there, but there were other tables open. The food and service will bring us back, and odds are in our favor that we wont be sat by the kitchen door twice in a row, so our next visit should be even more enjoyable."

  • "I made reservations one week in advance and was really looking forward to dining at Kincaid Grill. When we arrived, we were told very matter of factly that there was a 30 minute wait. I explained that we had reservations. The hostess stated she was aware of that but there was a 30 minute wait. No apology, no explanation, nothing. We opted to sit in the bar area and wait. We were never taken to a table, but watched as many people were immediately seated. The dinner was brought while we were still working on our salad. For a high end restaurant, I think this is inexcusable. Although the food was delicious, I would never return to this restaurant."

  • "The Kincaid Grill is a great experience for a true foodie. We are very critical of restaurants and know good food when we experience it. Our dinner there was the best we have had at any Anchorage restaurant in a long while. We all tried a bit of each others dinner, and there was consistency in the quality of everyones order. My prawns were to die for, the grits served with it almost made me not order them, which would have been a mistake. I thought it the best of all, but the short-ribs were also fantastic, as were the scallops. We started with the oysters, which were fantastic, as were the crab cakes. Too full and satisfied to even try dessert. Kincaid Grill is now on our top restaurant list in Anchorage. Well worth the money!"

  • "Without a predetermined plan, our group of 4 (2 being "newbies"), ordered different plates trying to discovery the winning meal of the evening. What a delight to find out that we were all "winners". Everything was amazing! And taking in account the fact that there was a significant holiday group party in the adjoining room, the noise never interrupted our small groups conversation. How nice to be in a restaurant that doesn't pressure their guests to "eat and get out". The attention we receive from the staff was the perfect balance of involvement and privacy. Food highlights: Butternut squash soup, Alaskan Seafood Cioppino and finally the house made White Chocolate Ice Cream."

  • "We had a small business function at the Kincaid with an out of town guest. Our guest is well traveled and enjoys fine dining and a well thought out wine list – he was not disappointed. We ate in the chef’s room off the kitchen – plenty of room for our party. It was private, quiet and fun to watch the kitchen staff work their magic. Everything from the appetizers to the after dinner sauterne was impeccable. I need to give the wait staff a shout out – they attentive and helpful without “hovering” like less accomplished servers. Bravo!"
