Our group consisted of four adults and five young children. I was having difficulty just finding any restaurant accepting a reservation for 9 on short notice, let alone one with a menu appealing to sophisticated tastes as well as a good selection of kid friendly choices. Our server brought out individual plates of healthy little appetizers just for for the little ones immediately. She tended to them so well that the adults got to enjoy their food and conversation. They welcomed our large family and treated us as if we were part of their family! There is something on the kid's menu to please even the pickiest eaters. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and the whole evening. We will definitely be returning, even without the munchkins!

The service at Kin was very good as was the food. Some plates are a little pricey for what you got ($25 for 2 rib bones with meat, nothing special). The ambiance is where Kin has great opportunity for improvement. When you first walk in there is a huge room (the bar) and off to the side is a very small dining area. Noisy, noisy. From most of the seats in the dining area you have full view of a service area for wait staff, you can enjoy them filling Pepsi in glasses. There is one huge booth, another corner booth (that don't match) and the rest of the tables are of good size. Not sure what style they were going for. They need to put some kind of door on that service area, takes away what little ambiance there is in the dining area.

The food is very good and served in large portions. Service was extremely good and mega friendly. Since restaurant is well known throughout the neighborhood, go at an odd hour if you want to your table companions.

Kin was a definite choice for Valentines day for my self and my girlfriend. It was our first time dinning at Kin, so wasn't sure what to expect. The volume of the place was loud, but most of the dinning is separate from the bar. We started off with sweet potato tater tots and the calamari. Both excellent choices and a large amount for the two of us. My girlfriend ordered the Mac and Cheese and I ordered the Dinosaur Bones. The Dinosaur Bones were awesome! Two BIG beef ribs with a large side of sweet potato fries. The Mac and Cheese was good, nothing exotic, but I liked the mix of cheeses that they used. My girlfriend ended up liking my plate over hers. We will definitely be going back!

We were pleasantly surprised, and will return. A little loud, lots of laughter and fun....but isn't that how Kin always seem to be?

We chose Kin Restaurant for dinner because of the varied menu and location. What a great find! The service and food were very good and when the bottle of wine we chose for dinner was unavailable, the owner suggested another local wine that was considerably more expensive and gave it to us at the same price. A real winner. We ended up visiting that winery the next day and had a fantastic wine tasting experience.

We enjoy going to Kin very much. The service and food is great. It is very loud though, and even louder when there are small kids. I don't feel that it is a place for kids, especially when your trying to visit with friends.

The food quality was excellent. Had the cinnamon glazed chicken pizza and was blown away with the unique taste. The crust was very light and flavorful as well. Good wine selection reasonably priced. Will be returning soon.

Kin has great potential, but the noise in the main dining area is so loud, we could hear most conversations. The wooden booth should be taken down, since noise seems to bounce off the wall. The Dinosaur Bones were tough, and they could have been so good if only left to cook longer. The bread is so thin that you can't really enjoy it. The chicken was great and the sandwiches looked good. Our waitress did not tell us that there was a special when we were there. We had already orderd when we heard her telling another table. To her benefit, she offered to cancel our order and give us the special if we wanted it. We thanked her, but stuck with our original order.
