A word from Kibo
Kibō is a modern Japanese restaurant and lounge in Gramercy with Michelin-starred Chef consultant Joël Robuchon. Upon entering the casually elegant kibō, guests feel a complete sensory experience as they are met by tall tables in the lively bar area, a sizzling glass-enclosed Robata grill, an energy-emitting DJ booth and a sprawling main dining room anchored by a communal table. The décor mixes traditional Japanese elements with pops of colors and electric anime and graffiti art. Guests become involved in the space by leaving their “wish” on a beautiful piece of fabric to add to the traditional-style Japanese wish wall. The Joël Rochuchon designed menu features Robata grill selection, noodles, small plates and sushi by Sushi Master Boo Lim. Spotlighting unique Japanese ingredients, the eclectic beverage menus feature a wide variety of sake, shochu, unique seasonal cocktails, wine, beer and bubbly. Continued
