I grouse about the cost of wine per glass, but I do love this place. We were lingering (read: not going back to work) when we were politely asked to move as they were setting up for the "Raptors' rush" and we moved to a nice table and were comped a glass of wine each. Service was attentive, but not overbearing. There were seven of us and we shared a tempura shrimp appie, a big selection of nigiri, miso soup and a unique beef roll. All was delish, well prepared and beautifully presented, and the fish was fresh. The crowning touch was when the manager brought over a birthday card and an origami box filled with chocolates for our daughter. Figuring it's location in the middle of the financial district would dumb down the quality of the food, and once the first platter arrived, I immediately realized that my stereotype was completely unfounded. Great food with excellent fusion twists, superb service, and pricing that matches this quality. This place was very close and open for a while longer. The food was amazing. I highly suggest getting the butterfish roll. Its probably the best sushi roll I have ever had. It actually melted in my mouth! My only negative comments are it was very loud inside and the tables were big.
