We started with the Wedge salad - great, with big chunks of bacon and blue cheese. We dined on Salmon, Brisket and the Sampler Platter, with the spinach, mac & cheese, and potato salad as sides. All were delicious, as usual. On a whim, we topped off our lunch by sharing the Chocolate Bomb, which I might go back and just have that when I'm in the mood for a chocolate fix!
Service was stellar, and the surprise of the day was, on our way out, when I was handed a gift card to Kenny's as a Mothers' Day gift! We frequent all 4 Kenny's restaurants. After searching OT for a place to take my hubby for his bday dinner, I decided on Kenny's. So glad I did. The service was awesome and fast, and the food was so good! The brisket and pulled pork melt in your mouth, and the gouda mac n cheese was sinfully good! Prices were also very reasonable considering it's at the Shops of Legacy. I got the sampler, my wife got a brisket salad - and we both couldn't have be happier. The sampler had brisket, pulled pork, ribs and jalapeno cheddar sausage - and I still haven't been able to pick a favorite - they were all perfect! We have been 3-4 times and have not found 1 thing on the menu yet that is not absolutely delicious. We are always recommending it to friends in neighbors because of it's trustworthy excellence. I had a reservation for 8pm but called early to see if we could get in and they accommodated our request without hesitation. Our server was fantastic and helped us out with choosing are meal for the night since it was our first time there. I was a little hesitant about a higher-end barbecue place, I love hole in the wall barbecue places, but the food was amazing. We tried the sampler and all the meat on the sampler was delicious. My boyfriend and I had a hard time figuring out which was our favorite. The beef ribs were fall off the bone amazing! I am originally from Kansas City which is a barbecue mecca, but I would stack Kenny's up against any cue from KC! I particularly like the beef ribs, they are huge but best eaten with your hands. The brisket stuffed jalapenos exceptional as well. Kenny prides himself on having well trained attentive wait staff and this location is clearly up to the standard of his other restaurants.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was our second visitThis was our second visit to Kenny's Smokehouse and it was GREAT again, the food was outstanding. The quantity of a serving is plentiful and the flavor is just right. We tried desserts this time having the bread pudding and the chocolate bomb and I will go back for these desserts!!! Two of the best desserts I have tasted! Leave room for dessert, but it will be hard because everything that comes before dessert is great also! The food was incredible! I had the BBQ Chicken sandwich with BBQ fries, and it was outstanding. Had a small bite of everything my 3 friends ordered as well, which was all great! The gouda mac-n-cheese and the salmon were excellent. The service was outstanding - the waiter came by the table midway through dinner to pour our warming martinis into chilled glasses. And while it may not first strike you as a kid-friendly place, they took special care to seat us in a location made for containing a 3 year-old, then went further by handwriting a kid's menu for the little guy. The smoked brisket is one of my favourites but also the smoked pulled pork, beef ribs and even the tuna are great, exactly cooked right: raw and scorched on the outside

As with any Kenny's restaurant, the service is beyond reproach. You'll recognize her attention to detail in the training and professionalism of the waiters, the quality of the food and the fabulous choreography of the staff. Terrence waited on us and addressed us respectfully by name. He recognized when that cold beer glass was empty and went out of his way to be sure we loved the food and that our visit was as good as he could make it. The highlight for me was the blue cheese potato salad. Of course, my pulled pork sandwich was phenomenal and I highly recommend the sautéed spinach with the bacon vinaigrette.
