  • "Since this was our first time here I had the meat platter to try a little of everything. Loved the pulled pork and the sausage. The brisket was tough and the BBQ sauce was a little too sweet for my tastes. My wife had a dry rub steak special which was very salty. I tried a Cabernet which I had to send back as it tasted like vinegar. The waiter suggested one of the house wines as a replacement which was excellent. The service was very good but the food was average. Maybe it was an off night for the kitchen because they seemed swamped and overwhelmed. We will try again in a few weeks to see if it truly was an off night."

  • "Being a 5th-generation Texan, I KNOW my barbeque and this place is exceptional! Not overly large, open & noisy like the typical chain barbeque places, this has a much more intimate feel & a great place for date night or casual dining with friends. The decor is classy & the menu, just like other Kenny's restaurants, is unique. Although they just opened a few months ago, I've been here twice for dinner & once for a business lunch & the service & food were outstanding every time! One of the very best features is they take reservations, so if you have 2 or 3 couples dining with you, you can arrange in advance & not have to wait an hour or more for a large table on the weekends. FYI, the marbled brisket will melt in your mouth!!"

  • "...and I thought Kenny's pork ribs were great, but his beef ribs are outstanding! The food is definitely the reason to go here. The service this visit was mediocre (which is not typical for a Kenny's establishment); you can definitely tell they are understaffed for the busy rush times. Seating is cramped, really seems like they need a larger building...especially in the bar area. This is about as expensive as BBQ gets so be prepared to drop 2-3x as much as you'd expect at a Texas BBQ joint; this would definitely be what I classify as high-end BBQ in terms of pricing."

  • "My son from NYC wanted BBQ for his 25th Birthday dinner. He was so happy this was where we took him!! Love everything about there BBQ. Staff bends over backwards to make sure you are happy!! Even if you like brisket...know you can order 1 Beef Rib and you will not be disappointed. Cottage fries and onion rings were also a hit. GO you not leave hungry!"

  • "Arrived at 6:15pm to meet a friend and the place was packed. The BBQ brisket was a little dry but the tangy sauce helped with that. The sides are small but well made. Excellent Mac and cheese with little bacon bits. Overall very good, service and food."

  • "I have been to Kenny's Burgers and Kenny's Grill and love both, but this restraunt seems forced. Using smoke to flavor meat takes time my meal seemed like it was cooked with smoke, but the relationship was forced. There was a smoky taste on the surface, but little else."

  • "The wife and I were seeking out a new favorite restaurant. Kenny's did not disappoint. The smoked salmon appetizer was fabulous! We ordered the pork chop with intentions to share along with a smaller entree. The waiter said it was his favorite and was baseball sized. It was bones-in. That's right bones. It was about two inches thick with two bones. We cut it in half and was still more than either of us could eat. It was the best pork chop I have ever had. Cooked to perfection. It was juicy but not under cooked. We also had the pulled pork. It was good, but took second place next to the chop. We will be back!! Wish they had outdoor dining (for the three nights a year that would be pleasant)."

  • "We went for Valentine's Day. We had a reservation, but only had to wait for 20 minutes, long enough to enjoy a drink from the bar. The bar is small, and not much seating, but it was fine for us. Food was quick to be served, very fresh and tasty. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for BBQ. The coconut shrimp was also delish if you don't eat meat, but I would have liked a few more vegetarian/non-meat items. We would definitely go back! Great service too!"

  • "My wife and I spent Valentines dinner at Kenny's smokehouse. The food was outstanding. I had the sampler and all 4 meats were yummy. My wife had the smoked prime ribs and it was delicious. They also had a smoked Makers Mark Bourbon that was fantastic. We highly recommend Kenny's Smokehouse. We will definitely go back."

  • "I had the Brisket, which was excellent, very tender and flavorful. I had a mixture of the lean and marbled brisket, both were excellent. The smoky gouda mac and cheese was good, but the sauce was a little too thin and for a strong smoky cheese was mild. I was expecting a bit stronger flavors. The barbeque beans were good. The problem is that everything I've ever had at any of the Kenny's restaurants is always totally scrumptious and way above average. The barbeque is definitely was right on target and wonderful. The sides were good but not Kenny's good! I look forward to going back for the BBQ!"

  • "I grew up with good bar b wye and it is hard to find. They only offer St. Louis ribs would like baby back. The ribs were very moist But I like more dry. I took them home and heated the next day In the oven and they were fabulous. The fried chicken was amazing. The Spinach awesome. Brisket was good. Did not care For the pulled pork needed more flavor. Will be back."

We tried a number of different dishes all of which had very fresh ingredients, great flavor combinations, and were all presented by our very knowledgeable waiter. Our favorites: Ahi tuna nachos, Pork tacos, blue cheese potato salad, prime rib bbq sandwich, smoked makers mark old fashion. The chefs combination of ingredients and sauces are unique and elevate bbq to another level. Nice job! We're already planning our next visit!"

  • "Four of us dined, two were old timers, two were virgins... as one of the virgins.. it was good.. he had the Salmon and it was excellent.. I had the chili burger.. it was big.......... some of the meat wasn't as tender as I had hoped.. pretty good... Tasted one of the beef ribs, it was was good, but the outer edges a bit tough for my taste... Our waiter was really really good.. knew the menu inside and out, had great suggestions, he was a bit too busy to catch our every want, but we felt very well cared for. LOVE a waiter who knows the food and drinks inside and out.. We will be back."

  • "We two issues during our visit to Kenny's. 1. I had called to change our reservation to 5 people from 4. I was told no problem. However, the adjustment never happened. The restaurant was full. We squeezed into a table for 4. It was not bad. 2. 50 minutes after placing our food order, we still had no food. The waiter said the pork chop was probably slowing things up. I thought he should have checked sooner. The manager came over and explained that our order got missed. She comped our entire bill. That was very generous. Even with the issues we had, we had a fun evening and will return."

  • "Had to return to a Kenny's restaurant since they kindly gifted us with a $20 gift card after a recent anniversary visit. This time we chose Kenny's Smokehouse...nice choice for our holiday dinner out with friends. The service is always friendly and attentive at Kenny's; this place was no different. Jalapeño cornbread and poppers appetizer were yummy. The salads were a little undersized, but given the amount of brisket on my entree, understandable. Husband's sampler was hefty and it disappeared. Do not miss their mac-n-cheese!!! It should have a warning label...addictive. If you want an upscale version of a Texas barbecue restaurant head here."

  • "This was my second trip to Kennys Smoke House, and the occasion was for our anniversary. The food was remarkable, the service was friendly and comprehensive, and the atmosphere was just right-not stuffy, and casual enough. Kenny's takes barbeque to a new level, and the sides are unique and tasty; specifically the potato salad! I also wanted to comment on the signature drinks. I tried the Smokehouse Old Fashioned, and let me tell you, there was nothing old fashioned about it. I must say the complete package last Saturday night at Kenny's was special. As far as the ambiance, it was perfect. Just dark enough for comfortable conversation, but not cave like. Conversation was at an appropriate level, and the tables were distanced well."
