Happy hourGreat all around. Happy hour is great deal. Awesome that they have kama'aina night. Wish they had one in Waimea.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMBest Sushi On IslandKenichi Pacific was awesome. We had a party of 8, and the service went so smooth. They were always waiting for us, instead of us waiting for food/service. Michael and the others are great waiters, and very attentive to our needs. The food is one of the best on island, beet salad a must, and we made a special roll with salmon & cream cheese, the chef was happy to accomodate.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMit's ok...The food itself taste very good but options were limited. I'm from California and when we go as a group, we are use to ordering a boat to share; they didn't have that. The waitress suggested that we get the sashimi and sushi dinner to share, we did, and we were still very hungry (there were six of us). This is after we've alread inhaled a hamachi kama and a macadamia nut crusted lamb. The macadamia nut crusted lamb was wonderful, the sauce was great. The new sashimi style was similar to the pepperfin. It wasn't bad, but there was nothing that made you say, "wow, we must come back for this." We finished our meal with a rainbow roll and a spider roll. I was hopping that they had some kind of special roll but they didn't.3/13/2013 12:00:00 AM
