  • "Visited the Lodge for the third straight year for my wife's birthday and we weren't disappointed. I had asked for a quiet table and we got the "wine room". A cozy little room with wine racks and a view to the main dining room. It was great. Our server Colleen was super taking care of our every need. The food was great, from the lobster deviled eggs, to the table prepared Caesar's salad, entrees and desserts. This is one of our favorite restaurants in the area."

  • "My husband loves your restaurant so we went for his B Day. Everything was pretty good. I think you are over priced. I wish you would filter your(tap) drinking water. We have taken our family to the lodge a couple of times and they love it too. Dad thinks it's a real treat. My last reservation I asked for a nice booth. They sat us next to the kitchen, to much traffic for my taste."

  • "We had dinner at Ken Stewart's for the 1st last Saturday. We were very disappointed with the food. Entrees only include a house salad and bread. If you want vegetables or a potato, there's an additional charge. My husband expected his $41 petite filet to be very tender. It was not. My $32 salmon was OK, not great. Definitely not worth the price. Will not dine there again. "

A side of asparagus with 5 spears was $9.00…cocktails were high…$9 for a manhattan and $11 for martini; Rack of lamb 55 and not any better than a competitor who prices there even more delicious rack of lamb at 34. Entree prices just too high. We would only consider coming back for a dinner for a very special occasion…This dinner for 4 was over $420 including a tip. "

  • "We have been meaning to go here for years and I have to say it was well worth the wait! We both felt that for the price and the quality of the food and service, it was a great experience and we never should have waited so long. I ordered the sea bass special which melted in my mouth and my husband had the Filet trio which was delicious as well. Tried the carrot bisque and calamari which were both excellent especially the chili vinegar that they serve with the calamari. Didn't have room for dessert but did have a nice glass of 20 year port that they serve with a plate of strawberries, blue cheese and walnuts, yum! Did not disappoint."

  • "The restaurant had a great atmosphere. The food was a 9 out of 10. The service was great. The only down side is their prices. They are outrageously priced. Our meal with no alcohol and no appetizer was $135 with taxes and tip. We have equivalent quality meals at other restaurants including appetizer for about $120. We would visit this restaurant again if we had a gift card. However, for the price, we would go to a different restaurant. "

  • "I've been there before and it is a very nice restaurant. On this occasion, it was good, but nothing more. It is quite expensive, and I've had better food for a lot less. I remember when that wonderful wedge salad was a free option for dinner. Now it is only the field greens (nothing special) and the wedge salad is an additional $10.00. The portions used to be huge. Now it is a one person dinner size. The waitress was not certain about the daily specials. That was confusing. I would go again; I would recommend the restaurant; I would just caution people not to raise their expectations because it is such an expensive restaurant."

  • "A classic, straightforward menu with great food, atmosphere and execution. The place is a little bit white cloth with an expensive wine list although it's not stuffy or pretentious. The staff was very courteous, prompt and friendly. My only real complaint was that by the time we left our wallets had taken severe damage. It's probably a little bit overpriced. Anybody looking for a good, old school place that does things right and doesn't mind paying a little extra will enjoy. "

  • "Besides business functions, we go to Ken's Lodge for the outstanding service and quality food. Ken has drifted from that with expection of particular servers. The food portions have become small and the prices higher. The extra special experiences know that come with visiting ken's that balances the extra cost has slipped. Very disappointing especially for our anniversary. The service was exceptionally sloooooow."

This was apparent when (after we had ordered) we overheard the other wait staff rattle off specials to other customers not told to us. Our silverware was never replaced. I was down to one fork at the end of the meal. This review pertains to our visit on March 15, 2014."

  • "The atmosphere at The Lodge is always impressive. On this particular evening, the service was extremely slow. This was not the server's fault; the server came back to our table twice to "check in" with us and explain the delay in receiving dinners. We sat down a bit before seven o'clock and our dinners arrived at nine o'clock. This was not because of getting lots of apps ( only one for one guest). The explanation was that a large party's orders had gone in just before ours. This was not a problem in that we were not in a hurry but we were hungry by the time our dinners arrived. A visit to The Lodge is usually for a special occasion in that the meals are a bit pricey. All in all, a nice evening."
