  • "i was so impressed with the service and the professionalism of the staff. Our waitress was superb"

  • "Our overall experience at KS Grill was top notch. Calamari app was lightly breaded and served with a hot pepper vinegar delicious! House salad and the pear and fig salad were cold crisp and fresh...entrees followed and were outstanding...I got the 1 lb crab stuffed lobster tail and my date enjoyed the featured blackened swordfish. Service was seamless...great night! Thank you....we enjoyed the cocktails prepared for us as well..."

  • "My wife and I ate here on a Saturday night at 5PM. Dining room was empty except for 2 other couples. Our waitress was fantastic. Just the right amount of service without being pushy. We both got the filet at $45 each. Steak was cooked perfectly with a side of onion straws. Dessert was a type of chocolate cake which seemed to have way too much flour. It was the only disappointing part of the meal. Decore seems to be out of the 70's with many disturbing looking paintings hanging on the walls and in the booths. While we enjoyed ourselves we both agreed that this place is not worth the price and that we would not choose to come here again."

  • "Another Akron Gem ... Ken Stewart's is the finest dining establishment in the area. Always great, but this time our server was so annoying we were ready to move to another table. You don't want to feel rushed when paying the minimum of a Benjamin to have a nice romantic dinner. But we couldn't even take a sip of our drink order before hearing the specials. We both had the Thai Seafood Stir-Fry which was amazing and a house salad with their signature White French dressing that was big enough to split. Too full for dessert, but the bread pudding is also a KSG classic. We will make sure we don't have the same server next time we come back, which is too bad that this affected the rating."

  • "The food was outstanding and the service was excellent. It was a great atmosphere to catch up with old friends and enjoy an evening together."

  • "We had an excellent dinner this week. Our group had a variety of seafood and steak, as well as an off-the-menu chicken marsala. All were greatly enjoyed, the staff was attentive yet allowed us to enjoy our meal at our pace. Wonderful experience, worth the price every time."

  • "Another great dining experience at KSG. The wild mushroom toast was fabulous!! We were thinking that maybe the prices are getting a little out of hand, that was until we had finished. It's easy to see, the old saying "you get what you pay for" definitely applies here also. All in all...Excellent!"

  • "Friday night Happy Hour is not to miss. Fantastic selection of half price appetizers in the lounge along with martini specials. What could be better in Northeast Ohio? The Jumbo Lump Crabcake was filled with just that - jumbo lump crab. Delicious. Attentive and friendly servers. Great atmosphere. Will absolutely return soon!"

  • "We have been dining at Ken Stewart's for well over 15 years. This is definitely a special occasion location, but well worth the price. "

  • "Excellent service , impressive knowledge of the many nightly specials Remarkable food Were waiting for us when we arrived, seated us upon arrival Best dinning experience we've enjoyed locally "

  • "The food here is fabulous, the best tasting I've had. This would be a great place for foodies. We split a Cesar Salad and it was plenty. We also split the scalloped potatoes and couldn't finish them all, even though they were wonderful. The Chilean Sea Bass was very good as was the three filet's each prepared differently. We shared with each other everyone like everything. "

  • "I must say out of all the times I have dined here at minimum 10 times,my filet and dessert was not the best. My filet was tender but very dry and no flavor. My peanut butter bomber was room temperature, normally it's warm and melting in your mouth with every bite. "

  • "Last minute reservation celebrating family graduation day and mother's day taken with no problem. Food very good (not exceptional but good for the price) and wonderful service. Tends to be a bit expensive for groups but with that realization I would recommend the steaks and lamb. Previous experience"

  • "We attended Mother's day brunch, and it was a great experience. It was not a buffet, but there were specific brunch selections on the special menu. My son ordered the ham selection, Mom ordered the french toast selection, and I ordered the eggs Benedict with lump crab selection. All were delicious. The noise level was low. Our server was personable and very attentive. It was a great overall experience. "

  • "I had the steak trio. The cuts of meats were amazing and the toppings tasted incredible. I was able to switch one of the toppings for a sun dried tomato butter... melted in my mouth...sent me to heaven. "

  • "I've had $150 meals where I thought "I can't wait to go back" so I'm fine spending the money on a great meal, but this was not worth it. The steak (with no side) was $46. I was expecting something amazing, but ended up with a quality cut of meat that was very bland. $9 to add a baked potato? Come on. We sat outside and the chairs looked and felt like cheap Walmart lawn chairs. At $46 for a steak, buy some better furniture! While we ate outside, an employee stood nearby smoking and drinking while playing with his ipad and listening to music. Not cool. Overall, the food was decent and the restaurant wasn't bad, but if I'm going to pay that much money, I'll find a better place next time."

  • "There are so many great restaurants in our area to try we rarely visit the same restaurant twice. Our meal was exquisite and our service was even better. We will be back! The front of the house service was the best we have experienced. Our server was the knidest, caring person I have ever encountered in a restaurant."

  • "It was our first visit to Ken Stewart's. Our server was very informative, attentive, and friendly. The food was good, but my husband and I both felt it was overpriced. He got a steak and I ordered the chicken. We both had a salad and potatoes. We shared creme brulee for dessert. We did not have drinks; I ordered ice tea and he had a beer. Our total with tip was a little over $150.00."

  • "My wife and I made a pact to go out once a month and leave the kids at home, so we're trying all the area restaurants. KSG was a great place -- good atmosphere, the table felt private, and the service was great. There are a lot of options on the menu, and although it's expensive, dinner was fabulous. It's great for a special occasion."

  • "If you are looking for a spot to celebrate a special time Ken Stewart's Grille is the destination. Kay, our waitress, welcomed us to the grille and did make the evening special. Ken Stewart's has special items such as the Akron chowder. Traditional items like filets and scallops are prepared with care seasoned to please most. The cocktails are prepared according to your wishes. The chocolate chip bread pudding was just the tip of the desert offerings. All was noteworthy."

  • "I took my wife to Ken Stewart's Grille for her birthday. We had been there before. The atmosphere was great, the noise was low, the food and service were excellent. It is definitely pricey (I ordered one of the specials without realizing it was $66.95), but it's definitely worth the experience. We will return."

  • "Service was excellent..way too many specials that are recited to the customer. My sea bass with pumpkin seed crust and spaghetti squash in a sage butter was excellent. Trio of beef very good. Truffled fries...parmesaned but could not see or taste any truffles. Oysters very cold but not very plump at all. House salad was perfect."

  • "We had a very nice, timely and quiet dinner. I requested a quiet table as my partner is legally deaf and it's often hard for us to communicate in a noisy restaurant. We were given a quiet table. My only complaint is that the table was so small we could hardly move. Every plate had to be removed so the next on would fit on, meaning the server had to come to the table often."

  • "All my husband and I wanted to do to top off the evening on Valentine's Day was to have dessert and a night cap somewhere. Luckily, I remembered I had a gift certificate and made reservations for just that. I made reservations online and found it very easy. I liked that you gave a choice of sitting in the main dining area or the lounge. We chose the lounge for this occasion and really enjoyed ourselves. Also, I'd like to mention that your desserts were delicious and I give you kudos for giving "healthy" portions, for a lack of a better word, than just a "sliver" as we have received at other restaurants. And to top off the evening, our server was sweet & charming. It was a wonderful way to end our evening. We will return. Thank you."

  • "My wife and I took my father and our son to Ken Stewart's Grille for Valentine's Day dinner to celebrate both Valentine's Day and my father's birthday. Ken Stewart's Grille (like other establishments operated by Ken Stewart) is considered a bit pricey, I believe that you truly get what you pay for in most cases. The food ranges from very good two excellent and the portion size is fair. If you order your salads à la cart, they tend to be a bit disproportionate to the rest of your meal (too large). Our meals were excellent. As with any fine dining experience one should not expect to eat and run. This is dining not eating out; expect to be at your table for at least two to three hours. Enjoy the experience"

  • "This restraunt had excellent food but was way overpriced. I understand they had probably the best steak I ever had but $45 for a 16 oz steak is rediculiously high. If that doesn't seem high $11 for fries in truffle oil and Parmesan chease might. This place is a great place and if you don't mind spending $150-$200 with tip it is a great place. I do understand why rich people don't tip though. With prices that high tips should be built into the price"

  • "Ken Stewart's has been known as the best restaurant in Akron for yeas. Even with the upscale steak franchises that have moved in (Hyde Park and Fleming's), KS's still gets the nod -- especially since it is a local restaurant. Great menu and lots of specials. It is expensive, though!"

  • "Enjoyed my first dinning experience with a business guest on a Thursday night. Enjoyed the tempura rock shrimp & pork belly in lettuce wraps - PLENTY to share. The house and pear salad were both great which lead up to the main courses. The restaurant had wonderful dinner specials but I settled on the red snapper. A wonderful dish with clams and muscles. My guest had the scallops which was equally brilliant. Needless to say if you had room, you can grab desert. I did and enjoyed the chocolate gateau. Look - the wait staff is wonderful and Natalie made the night as she was fun, timely and new everything by heart - the list of specials offered are as long as your arm so enjoy the presentation and your dining experience at Ken Stewart's Grill."

  • "An absolute top notch place to dine. Only issue is that the prices are near imsane. Unless you have a Rediculous amount of disposable income, don't eat here. U of won't get out at less than $200 if you are having cocktails and apps. If you can afford it...go! Great food and service."

  • "This was our first time dining at Ken Stewart's and it was an experience we will never forget. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary so naturally we wanted to dine at a fine restaurant. We were impressed from the moment we walked in to the restaurant. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was very inviting. We had impeccable service by our waiter, John. The food was wonderful. We can't wait to go back....In fact we are going back this weekend to celebrate Valentine's Day! This will always be our favorite spot for many years to come!!!"

  • "My husband and I wanted to celebrate 2 of our children's birthdays in a special way. We had been to the restaurant 2 years ago. I wasn't sure if it would still be as good as we remembered. it was everything we remembered. Our food was excellent, appetizers were wonderful, and enough to share. Our dinners were brought out hot and looked magnificent. Our son ordered 2 bottles of wine, superb!! . Our server was very friendly and extremely helpful in our selections. It was a little pricey, but well worth every bit of it. We live about 1 hour away, but will definably make the trip more often. I would highly recommend the restaurant."
