Ken Stewart's GrilleGraduation celebrationOur son has always wanted to go to ken Stewart's restaurant since he was a a little kid so we told him if he achieved his masters degree we would take him and this past Saturday he graduated with his masters from the Cleveland institute of music. So good to our word we took the whole family he loved it and the food and service was outstanding!!! We were there for our son's college graduation dinner and it was his first time there. He was very impressed and complimentary. A great experience, as always.5/13/2013 12:00:00 AMSTILL GREATI haven't been to Ken Stewart's in a couple of years, and I had read some not so complimentary reviews on several sites in terms of food quality and service. My experience was quite the opposite. Every aspect was top notch. We had a 5 year old with us, and the hostesses and wait staff went above and beyond the call of duty in accomodating us. Salads and appetizers were fresh, good portions and tasty. Long bone veal was fabulous; walleye was exceptional; the chicken dish for our 5 year old was excellent. And as always, Ken was gracious in spending time and welcoming us back. Yes it is expensive, but when you want everything to be perfect this is the place to go. Staff at the bar, while waiting for my party were very friendly and make you feel welcome. It deserves all of the accolades it has received in the past. For our intimate birthday dinner, we were given a booth enclosed on 3 sides, and the flowers I had ordered were on the table when we were seated. The food was outstanding - goat cheese appetizer and entrees of the trio of filet medallians (all prepared differently) and ahi tuna specials, all prepared as requested. The server was excellent - helpful, attentive and fun.
