  • "Absolutely phenomenal food, service, and atmosphere! The staff is so friendly and attentive. Lindsey Stewart, the GM, is an absolute doll and extremely professional and courteous. She is constantly checking on her customers to make sure everything is on point, which of course it is! Highly recommend the lobster pot pie- there's an entire lobster in it! My fiancé's ribeye was cooked perfectly and he said iI was the best steak he's ever had. The goat cheese mashed are crazy good and I've been thinking about them ever since. I love all of the Ken Stewart's restaurants, but this is my new favorite and will be a frequent destination for years to come. So happy there's one in CLE now! Worth every minute of the drive. Go there!!!!!"

  • "Hugely over- priced for average ambience and ok food. Staff coming and going to the outside by our table was distracting. "Birthday surprise dessert" contained nuts, which our guest can't digest well. When that was explained, staff said that's it, take or leave. After spending a small fortune, really! Will not go back."

  • "The food and service is top rate! The ambiance is beautiful, we sat at a table by the fire place for dinner and watched the sunset as we ate ---- so romantic! We also took advantage of the valet parking and we checked our coats. All of the staff were professional and very accomodating. Would highly recommend. Simply excellent!"

  • "My wife and I went to Ken Stewrts to celebrate a birthday on the recommendation of close friends. They were right in their recommendation. The wedge salad - large enough to share was tasty. My wife had the lobster pot pie and I went with the lobster bisque and crab cake small plate. The presentation and food were excellent. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and very attentive as well. The restaurant treated my wife to a birthday dessert which was an excellent chocolate tiramisu. Overall, on excellent dining experience."

  • "I have been to Ken Stewart's East Bank quite a few times now, and it gets better and better each time. The atmosphere is fun and cozy. My server was very friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu items. The spicy tuna and beet salad were great, the first time I've had both. The scallops were incredible as always. And the Parker rolls....buttery and delicious. The open kitchen is really cool and it is fun to be able to see the chefs at work. KSEB makes for a great dining experience!"

  • "We had sea bass and lobster pot pie. The fish did not include the pistachio crust,was salty and overcooked. The pot pie was all pastry with little of the main ingredient in a broth that just had a very unusual taste to it. Service was attentive and friendly so good there. The owner came by as well and was friendly but he expected us to know him. He is apparently a celebrity of sorts in Akron but not here in CLE. Prices are the highest in all of CLE. No others are close. We are happy to pay high prices for great food. This is not that place. I give this restaurant one year until it either closes or makes major changes."

  • "Went for our wedding anniversary. Greeted warmly and seated promptly for our reservation . Our server Josh was a rock star introducing wines and making menu recommendations . Nice atmoshere in downtown Cleveland and the food was very good. Steaks are there specialty and they will not disappoint. All in All a very good experience"

  • "We tried Ken Stewart's in the flats as part of Cleveland Restaurant week. It was a wonderful surprise and experience. Upon entering the restaurant, we were met by Ken Stewart himself. It's not often you are greeted and welcomed by the owner. The bar was busy and most tables in the restaurant were seated. We were shown to a wonderful table by one of their fireplaces where we enjoyed a wonderful dinner. The menu, wine list and service were all top notch. The Parker rolls in their little baking dish were just one of the fine small points that puts this restaurant a notch above many others. We both had seafood on this visit but will return to try the steaks, lamb or shortbibs. This is a great addition to the Cleveland restaurant scene."

  • "Went to Ken Stewart's for downtown Cleveland's restaurant week. Dinner was amazing. I had the Porcini Mushroom Soup, Wagyu and Wild Boar Meatloaf, and a Peanut Butter Bomb for dessert. Everything was very good. The meatloaf came with a sweet potato risotto that was great. We sat in the bar while we waited for our table and had wine. Overall, a very nice evening. Thanks to the restaurant for participating in restaurant week so that I could try it out on a budget! It's a little out of my price range otherwise."

  • "My boyfriend and I decided to check out Ken Stewart's during Cleveland Restaurant Week because we hadn't yet been there since it opened and the 3-course preset menu looked amazing. I was sold on the atmosphere right when we walked in. There was a trendy bar to the left (I would love to check out a happy hour there!) and a romantic dining room to the right, complete with a gas fireplace right in the middle of the room (which we actually got to sit next to!). The service was great and all 3 courses were amazing. The only thing I will point out is that it is definitely on the expensive end... the house wine is $9/glass to give you a benchmark. But totally worth it. Great for a romantic special night out! We will definitely be going back."

  • "I am a particular fan of KS Lodge. East Bank is a very different venue. It does not have the long list of specials, for example. It does, however, have the same attention to every detail. We made reservations about 3 weeks in advance. Turns out that was during Cleveland restaurant week. Ken Stewart's at a bargain? WOW! We did order from the special menu and the food was fabulous+ (as is the KS standard). The service level is far above most any other restaurant; attentive and never intrusive."

  • "Very romantic next to the fireplace. Both had watercress salad - the prima donna cheese makes this dish. Watercress is a little difficult to eat - think rabbits - but it's a delicious healthy choice. We had the pistachio crusted sea bass, which was OK, and the potato crusted halibut, which was outstanding. Dessert was from the specials menu. Good wine list. We had Puligny Montrachet, but next time we'll order Fume Blanc with our halibut. Waiter, Marcus, was efficient and helpful. The room was quiet, but we were there very early and it wasn't yet crowded. Self parked in the surface lot across from the restaurant, NW corner of W 10th."

  • "I have been to the Lodge on many occasions and this was our first time at the East Bank location. The restaurant has an awesome modern industrial decor featuring half circle booths that overlook the bridges of the West Bank and is perfectly Cleveland The bread they serve in the cast iron skillet was nice and doughy but a bit charred on the bottom. I'm not sure if the char on the bottom threw off the taste but it was definitely different. Next we ordered the Wedge Salad and French Onion soup and both are very, very good. My fiance ordered the potato crusted halibut and that was absolutely 5 stars. I ordered the Strip Steak which was cooked perfectly on the inside and only complaint was too much char on the outside tasting a bit burned"

  • "My boyfriend & I went here for Valentine's day. The food was great, the waitress was great very, friendly & overall we had a great time. However, the part we didn't enjoy was the manager. The manager of the restaurant was doing his rounds stopping at tables like he should but as we sat there we noticed he was hitting every table accept ours. We continued to watch & at some point even getting ready to talk because we were positive he was coming to us next. After we had been there about an hour a couple was sat next to us and within minutes of the first course being brought out the manager was over talking to them. Now, this may not be a big deal but the problem was that we noticed and it made us feel out of place and like we weren't wanted."

  • "Had an 8:00 dinner, seated about 20 minutes after 8:00. Request "main dining room" if you want a better experience (not sitting in bar area). The bread was quite tasty! Cocktails were great! Ordered the "prime beef tartare".. good but not great. Now to steaks. Ordered the "Prime dry aged 35 days NY Strip", MOST tender cut of beef I've had in a while. HOWEVER lacked flavor. No taste of salt OR pepper, just the beef. Definitely disappointed me. Ordered the 6oz Filet as well, VERY tender but flavor just wasn't there...I know its a filet but still. Dessert, ordered the "peanut butter bomb".Small BUT very good! My server Nicole was sweet, courteous and amazing! She made the night better! Restaurant is beautiful just the food isn't there for me."

  • "Decor was beautiful, cocktails were great, calamari was exellent, lobster bisque was marginal at best, rack of lamb was great, root vegatables and mustard sauce was average, dessert and coffee were excellent. I have been to all the other Ken Sterwart's restaurants. They are all excellent. I must be honest. The meal was very average and because of that I was disappointed. Hopefully, the issues are related to the start-up of a new restaurant and menu."

  • "First, the staff was enthusiastic. Perhaps too enthusiastic. We started out with the French Onion soup and Lobster bisque. On a scale of 1 to 10, the onion soup was a six. The lobster bisque, as explained by the waiter, had a very good amount of lobster. The amount actually was three pieces about the size of a quarter and as thick if the quarter was on it's end. Nothing spectacular about the bisque, giving it a 5 out of 10. The dry-aged strip was flavorless, though cooked to specifications. The bone-in short rib, again overly described by the waiter, was not fall off the bone tender and lacked seasoning. It had to be cut. Never had to do that with a short rib before. Add a mix up with our check.at the end, equals no return from us."

  • "There were three people in our party this past Saturday evening. We were seated in the room at the south end of the space. We were greeted immediately, the service was attentive to our every needs. In looking around us, this seemed to be the case for everyone having seats in our area. The small plates were anything but and we were full by the end if the second plates. But, the offerings were intriguing enough for us all to "suffer through" having to finish it all. The visitors with me stated that this was most definitely a place they would like for me to bring them back to when they come back. The ambiance was soft lighting, comfortable seating simple and tasteful."

  • "It was two of our group's birthdays. We all ordered different appetizer, salads and entrees. I ordered duck - skin was flabby and overdone. It had a odd taste. I sent it back. They were more than gracious to try and get me something else, but I saved room for dessert. The manager was kind enough to come over and chat with me and gave me a bottle of house wine and his card for next time. I do not believe we will be back as Cleveland is a foodie town and many more options available. They were kind, but still ruined the evening. Everything was a la carte and expensive."
