"WOW, This was one of the best restaurants that my wife and I have ever gone to. The 8 course menu was OUTSTANDING! Just when you thought there was no way the next course could be better then the last, we were happily wrong... This is a must when you are in San Fran!"

"Refreshing and fulfilling, Keiko's style is a welcome variety to the usual "French cuisine". The espresso reduction accompanying foie gras and the curry induced companion to the crab were clever takes. I'd recommend foodies to give this place a shot, although $85 for wine pairing may need a bit of heavy consideration."

"Another absolutely wonderful experience with our friends from Healdsburg. Keiko's flavors and presentation are a delight for mouth and eyes with the menu subtly changing with the season. One of the special attributes of her food is that it is prepared and presented without the ego attached to many fine restaurants in SF. The wine list is a delight to explore with the wine parings enhancing the meal. Try the La Chouette Cab and Pinot!

Some may consider fixed menus constraining, but the variety of flavors and combinations make it seem like you have had 2 or 3 dinners at one sitting. While an $85 dinner would not be a daily, after work, choice for most--it is far and away the best value high end culinary experience in the city."

"Fantastic food -- beautiful kaiseki-style arrangements coupled with California and French flavors. Great and varied wine list. And an incredible "bargain" -- seven courses of three-star cuisine at $85 (double or triple the price elsewhere). The room may strike some as dowdy and others as period. Would heartedly recommend Keiko."

"Well,not your everyday restaurant. 8 course tasting menu and you have no choices.
No room to describe everything but not all was successful especially the carrot flan as first course and for us the fois gras that badly needed some bread with it. To get it we would have to wait 10 minutes we were told.
Had the grand wine tasting and it was mostly good with one dessert wine borderline corked.
Service throughout was very good and professional. Maybe an off night ??"
