Keg & KitchenFood is very good; been hereFood is very good; been here many times. For entering a burger challenge though, they should step it up. And not sneakily serve it without fries (because their fries are awesome) though it was still a good deal at $7 including an Amstel Light. Burger was slightly over done and the flavors not balanced enough. The toppings were weak...except the mustard which overpowered the sandwich. Cheesecake was very good; huge slice. But the strawberries and whipped cream were pathetically small additions. Again, balance is needed. Craft beer and liquor selections are great. Oh and the smoked mayo is awesome.6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was only our second timeThis was only our second time to keg and kitchen. The first time we went for happy hour and discovered they have great specials before 6:30. The burgers are phenomenal, turkey, veggie, or beef they're all great. And we love the edamame app. This time we were a bit late with traffic and made it just before 6:30. The staff was very accommodating to us by letting us still order from the happy hour menu. Great beer selection too. We will be back for sure.6/5/2013 12:00:00 AMTerrificThe food was and is simply terrific. The fish tacos alone are worth the trip. My wife had a special - a pulled pork sandwich which was also amazing. Add to that a good array of beers on tap and it's a solid local place.6/2/2013 12:00:00 AMMmmm, Beer!Excellent selection of craft beers and interesting food options, from small plates to more elaborate entrees. Exterior was a bit incongruous (strip mall-type setting), as the interior was more in keeping with the restaurant theme (somewhat sophisticated brew pub). The staff could not have been more accomodating. We had a group of 11 gathered for a celebration, and there was a lot of talking and not much focus on the menu. But our server was extremely patient, plus had good advice on menu selections. I had the short rib sandwich and especially appreciated the bread it was served on -- not the type of roll that crumbles up the instant you pick up the sandwich or is hard to bite into, but sturdy enough to withstand the sauce.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was the second time weThis was the second time we had eaten here and pleased both times. The first was for Sunday brunch which was excellent and then dinner. They have an extensive beer list with a variety of unique beers. Definitely recommend!5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMGreta place! We have been here several times and it is always great. Great food/drinks and wonderful service! We will be back!5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways tasty and cheerfulFriday night dinner--the hubby and me--very tasty food (lobster bisque, mushroom flatbread, tortilla soup , short rib sandwich). We love the cheese board if you feel like snacking. Our waiter was so cheerful and knowledgeable (wine recommendation). The owner came over to the table too to say hi. Nice guy. This is one of our favorites for a casual but "foodie" dinner.5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMThe menu was super fun andThe menu was super fun and we got there just in time for happy hour specials! I went with 2 friends and we all loved the atmosphere and different options on the menu. The hummus platter could be an entire meal in itself and I loved the kale salad. I went with a friend who consistently orders a turkey burger, but I am rarely jealous. This one looked phenomenal! All yummy and juicy and white meat. Lots of vegetarian items too! Only problem was our cranky waitress....she clearly hated us for absolutely no reason. We are nice girls, big tippers and out celebrating good news, but she was short with us, impatient and apparently smiling hurts her face. The wait was a little long for simple food, but I would definitely go here again!5/20/2013 12:00:00 AMFirst Time BrunchWe've been coming to Keg N Kitchen very regularly for over a year now, and this was the first time we tried the Sunday Brunch Menu!
Delicious! Everything was prepared fresh and to perfection. I had the Chef's Special Omelette, which was Pulled Pork, Cheese, and Mushrooms.
My wife had the Eggs Benedict, which had a delicious house made biscuit and serrano ham!
Can't beat a $3 Bloody Mary or Mimosa either!5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMAnother enjoyable eveningAgain, a very enjoyable meal at K&K. The staff does a great job and sees that you are comfortable and well looked after.
The food is always a step above, and a lot more interesting than just about any other similar type establishment in the area.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat craft beers, inventive menuI have been to Keg & Kitchen many times and have ordered a variety of menu items--none of which have ever disappointed. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating of large groups. The rotating selection of beers on tap has something for everyone, and the bottles/cans list is extensive without being overwhelming. The bartenders have always provided good recommendations for beers and have concocted some crafty cocktails upon request. The atmosphere is always casual and friendly, no matter the time of day. Keg & Kitchen is a wonderful, local gem in Haddon Township!5/6/2013 12:00:00 AMI went there for Sunday BrunchI went there for Sunday Brunch and the food was great. I liked the look and feel of the restaurant and bar area. I could see myself going back soon for dinner and drinks.5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMFabWhat a terrific gem we happened upon, thanks to an Open Table search we did. Otherwise we'd probably not have checked this place out. Amazing food - fish tacos were fab. And a pizza with chili fries - sounds absurd, but fantastic!
And the beers with nice 'flight' opportunities - very cool for those who are not 'up' on all the beers and types. A neat way to try several.
Nice space inside with a clean look. Cool lookin' bar too. Love the chalkboard specials on the wall too. Just a real solid place, and I can't wait to tell others + go back.4/24/2013 12:00:00 AMI am embarassed to admit this,I am embarassed to admit this, but we have been here at Keg & Kitchen three times in the past two weeks and I have sent at least three people here this week alone. I love K & K. Great beer selectionl; so much so that a non-beer drinker like myself has now found two beers that I like. There is always something yummy on the menu (although I seem to live on their fish tacos). My husband always loves the K&K Burger. Its funny - we took another couple with us this time and they ordered the exact same things as us (I guess that's why we're friends!) This is also a great place for a beer and a snack (you will NOT be disappointed with the Rosemary Nuts). I made reservation for my sister, her husband and son for the very next night).4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMTried and TrueKeg & Kitchen never fails to deliver. It is our "Go To" place when meeting with family or friends for a relaxed meal and some good beer. Their weekly specials are sure to tempt your palate but I go for their moist, tasty fish tacos. My husband loves their burgers. He had their tomato soup this time. We were very surprised at the level of flavor in what appeared to be a clear broth soup. Oddly, it was served with a poached egg but this too turned out to be a tasty addition. We hope that they serve this one again.4/2/2013 12:00:00 AMDefinitely will be returning.Definitely will be returning. Everything was outstanding.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMOur second time in 1 week-Our second time in 1 week- we love it here! Great music, amazing food, and great beer selection. We have already recommended it to friends.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was awesome; wait staffFood was awesome; wait staff was very attentive. The only complaint I would have is the acoustics. While the place was crowded, it was very loud and we had to practically scream across table to be heard.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat find!Great find through Spring Restaurant week. The server, Morgan, was friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.3/19/2013 12:00:00 AM
