Beyond "pleasantly surprised!"
Interesting and successful twist on "westernizing" sushi dishes.
Especially loved the Crispy Brussel Sprouts w/Ginger appetizer!

A great blend of new ideas and flavor combinations tempered by traditional sensibilities make this our favorite restaurant in DC. Over the years, Kaz has consistently been top notch.

It is THE BEST sushi restaurant we have ever visited! The food is beyond outstanding. The service as well. We happened to have the same young lady wait on us - she was excellent - not only in her service, but any question we asked of her, either she could answer for us or if not, she found an answer from someone else. I have told everyone I know who is a sushi lover that they must try Kaz!
