We started with a kale salad that was any green leaf lovers dream. We moved on to filet mignon you could simply cut with a fork it was so tender. We had perfectly cooked Brussel sprouts. They served popovers in their breadbasket that were huge and light and delicious. As far as the service is concerned, I would have given it 6 stars if a sixth had been available. Our primary waiter was Nathan and he was supported by 2 or 3 others. They were never overbearing but always there when we needed them The explanations of the dishes were concise and easy to understand. The timing of the serving of the courses was perfect and though there was no push for us to leave, the check was there when I was ready for it. When the weather is nice, the bar area has doors that open behind it to give an open feel. The steaks are great. I like the New York Strip. It is a little pricey, so not exactly somewhere we would go every week, but special occassions are perfect or just when wanting something spectacular and not worried about the price. My husband loves the bone-in rib eye and I thought the salmon was great. After reading many reviews, we decided on Kayne Prime for my wife's birthday. We made the right choice! Her filet was simply superb -- perfectly cooked (rare) with a tremendous beef flavor. My strip was also perfectly cooked (again, rare) and was just a notch below the filet in flavor. The creamed spinach and potatoes aligot were richer than a hedge fund manager, the duck confit taco opener was delectable, and the bacon with maple cotton candy -- mouthwatering. Skip the wagyu sales push and use your savings on an extra appetizer. They definitely want to make the dining experience special, and they succeeded. The food was certainly top notch. I would highly recommend the filet and the carpaccio. My one knock would be that the prices were a bit higher than they should have been. We ordered the Waygu filet, my wife ordered the 6 oz and I the 10oz. It was cooked very well and it was worth the price. Next time I would order the 6 oz only because with the large portions of sides (we split the pepperoni and mushrooms and creamed spinach) I didn't have room for desert.

The server had promised "just a hint" of jalepeno in the cream corn brulee, be advised there is a strong spice with visible chunks of jalapeno in the dish.
