The host and bartenders were very nice and attentive. The food was great however our server was not at the top of her game. There was an hour gap between our 2nd to last sushi roll and our last sushi roll and we had to flag her down if we wanted to order a drink.
We did complain to the manager and he more than made up for our awful service. He was very kind and apologetic. He ended up making our experience a pleasant one. What a shame, because the varied Japanese menu was delicious and our server was enthusiastic and friendly. The modern decor was a bit contrived and overdone in its attempt to be uber-trendy, but didn't detract much from the meal itself.
