Kasbah Moroccan RestaurantGreat Moroccan foodwe had been planned to visit Kasbah for ages and made it during Happy Hour on a Tuesday. We enjoyed the Happy Hour menu entrees (keftah tagine and fish shamoula, plus trio of salads) and ordered lamb bastilla as an appetizer. For dessert we split the kasbah Cake and ice cream; I don't think Kasbah Cake is particularly Moroccan but it was delicious with drizzled chocolate, caramelized apples, coconut rose water. Portions were generous even for "happy hour" but we ate it all! Everything was beautifully presented, served at the correct temperature, and well seasoned. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive but did not hover or rush us. Our one minor criticism was the texture of the keftah; a bit dry, but the flavor was excellent!4/23/2013 12:00:00 AMFor me, a diehard cheapskate,For me, a diehard cheapskate, it was a little pricey. But for everyone else, it is probably average. We had a party of 12, four-course dinner, for around $300. (People paid for their own drinks, though, so that was not included.) We had a wonderful time, belly-dancer and all. We celebrated my son's 50th birthday. A young man who was with us said he can't wait to bring his girlfriend there.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AM
