Kasbah Moroccan RestaurantI took my friend out for herI took my friend out for her birthday. Everything was stellar. The food and cocktails were delicious. The service was courteous and prompt. We each got different dishes and they were all flavorful, beautifully plated, and unique. The scarves draped from the ceiling gave it a tent like feel and the lighting was soft. The belly dancer was a nice touch. Haven't had mint tea so good since I was in Morocco. It's a very authentic experience.6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMOur friends loved it!We have been to Kasbah a number of times and always have a wonderful meal in a lovely environment. We invited friends to join us who had never been previously. They loved the food, the decor and the ambience, as did we.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Moroccan foodwe had been planned to visit Kasbah for ages and made it during Happy Hour on a Tuesday. We enjoyed the Happy Hour menu entrees (keftah tagine and fish shamoula, plus trio of salads) and ordered lamb bastilla as an appetizer. For dessert we split the kasbah Cake and ice cream; I don't think Kasbah Cake is particularly Moroccan but it was delicious with drizzled chocolate, caramelized apples, coconut rose water. Portions were generous even for "happy hour" but we ate it all! Everything was beautifully presented, served at the correct temperature, and well seasoned. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive but did not hover or rush us. Our one minor criticism was the texture of the keftah; a bit dry, but the flavor was excellent!4/23/2013 12:00:00 AMFor me, a diehard cheapskate,For me, a diehard cheapskate, it was a little pricey. But for everyone else, it is probably average. We had a party of 12, four-course dinner, for around $300. (People paid for their own drinks, though, so that was not included.) We had a wonderful time, belly-dancer and all. We celebrated my son's 50th birthday. A young man who was with us said he can't wait to bring his girlfriend there.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AM
