This BYOB restaurant was packed early on a Saturday evening with large groups of singles and professionals. All age groups intent on enjoying the ambiance and looking forward to the entertainment, a belly dancer. The front of the house staff is dynamic, moving between tables and attending at a quick speed and with a smile to the diners. Would recommend this restaurant and will be returning. Very fun, very affordable ( a nice change), and enjoyed a BYOB as it definitely reflected in the lower check.

we've been to Kan Zamen many times, but this Saturday night was booked to large parties. It was a sold-out night. Good for Kan Zamen; boo for the four of us who were looking for an opportunity to eat good food (theirs); drink good wine (ours -- KA is BYOB); and catch up. Sadly, we got only two of the three.

I love this place - one of my favorite River North spots (and BYOB which is great). They were able to accommodate coming in later than the 7pm reservation and put us in the tables where you take your shoes off before the belly dancer. Fun to go especially on Friday/Saturday nights when they have the belly dancers. I love the chicken schwarma meal.

Delicious food - especially the beef and chicken. When we first arrived at 7pm on a Friday night, however, we were THE ONLY patrons in the restaurant, which felt odd. By the time we left around 8:30pm, almost all of the tables were full. Strange! But still, good food that I will probably order for take-out later.

I had a group of 15 plus an additional guest. They accommodated our entire group and the 16+ bottles of wine we brought. They kept the cupcakes in the back until they were ready to be brought out- candle and still in perfect condition. I love the food, service, and location of this restaurant. A must go to BYOB spot.
