Kama BistroWonderful Indian BistroI enjoy the food at Kama very much. I love Indian food in general but Kama Bistro is a bit different. There is a different take on flavors than I have seen in Indian food at other restaurants, which is why I like it. Its nice to eat those flavors but in new and different ways. I highly recommend the sweet potato in tamarind/lime sauce as an appetizer. Everything else I have eaten there has always been good. I have gone and dined strictly on appetizers, like Tapas. Other times with a larger group we each ordered different things and passed it around for all to try. Kama is flexible on the heat of the food. We had friends who cannot eat hot flavored foods and Kama insured the food was mild enough for their stomachs.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMAs Good As It GetsMy wife and I come here at least twice a month. Not only is Gluten Free and Vegan option are amazing, but there lamb is top notch. After years of searching for a place with great food and CULTURE, we now have Kama Bistro in our neighboring town. Everything appears freshly and lovingly made. My husband enjoyed his saag paneer and thought it was the best he has had anywhere. My son tried pakora for the first time and love to dip them in the sauces provided. I had the Goan fish curry- well spiced and cooked. This place is a winner!4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMMy new favorite place. TheMy new favorite place. The food is excellent and our server was very knowledgable and friendly. Looking forward to our next visit.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AM1st but not last Indian dinersMy wife & I had never tried Indian cuisine before so we were totally dependent on our waiter. We were not disappointed. He recommended the Tandoori Platter for an entree. Great choice! The chicken, lamb & seafood were all so different and delightful. Next to us was an English couple who are permanent residents in the U.S. & who have been here numerous times. After eating here, we can certainly understand why. If you've never had Indian, like us, or if you're a veteran, you will love Kama.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMSmall restaurant with niceSmall restaurant with nice ambiance and awesome contemporary Indian food. Definitely very different from typical Indian restaurants with buffets. We went for dinning on eve of my wife's birthday. Service was outstanding and our server helped us with her suggestions. We love spicy food. We ordered Kama Vindaloo as one of the dishes and as mentioned on the menu it was really HOT!! I enjoyed every bite of it. Caution: Be sure to check your comfortable spice level before ordering this dish. Malai kofta was also good. We also ordered Nan, Kulcha and Lachha Paratha to try each of the bread. This was the ONLY disappointment I would say as it didn't gave a feeling of an authentic Indian bread. Overall a must try dining option.3/10/2013 12:00:00 AM
