Diner Reviews
  • "First time at this Kabuki and pleased as always. Very convenient to grabbing a pleasurable meal before a show. Well within walking distance of the Pantages and the parking. We've eaten at different Kabuki, from Hollywood to Las Vegas and the quality of food and service is remarkably consistent! That's why it's a good bet no matter where you are. Lots of new items on the menu. Try the Chilean Sea Bass. What a great taste!"

  • "My partner and I visited for dinner on our way to The Book of Mormon that was playing down the street. We loved the sushi and were surprised by the prices given the great quality. We enjoyed the Alaskan Roll and would def recommend it to anyone who loves sushi. We also enjoyed the courteous service from our waiter, Leo, who was very friendly, easy to talk to, and was knowledgeable about the menu items."

  • "I loved what I got (mixed teriyaki dinner), but my husband wasn't as happy with his (a spicy roll … which arrived a bit watery and a rainbow roll). We appreciated the complimentary edamame at the start of the meal. And our server, Noa, was friendly and eager to please."

  • "Staff had neglected to transfer our reservation from their computer to their handwritten reservation book. Manager had to come to the front desk to straighten things out before we could be seated. Food was very good, generous portions without being ridiculous and prices surprisingly reasonable. I did want a glass of plum wine after dinner and the waitress brought our bill without our asking, nor did she ask if we wanted anything else. Flagged her down and got the wine which was very good."

  • "I love Kabuki, but this LA location was horrible. The food was great but the service did not deserve a star. The waiter did not attend our table at all. No refills on anything and we asked about 3 times and he still didn't bring it & even the other waiters that brought out our rolls gave attitude when we asked for a fork or condiment. The only time we had quick service was when we asked for the check. Love it but I won't be going to that location again. There are other sushi places not to far and I am sure with better service. Too bad."

  • "The service was some of the worst I've ever experienced. The server actually told me that taking another table's order was more important than fulfilling my request for wasabi. And the food was awful. Inedible. I would've sent it back except for the fact that my server never came by to check in. And when he did, he made sure to tell me how busy he was and made me feel like I didn't matter."
