JuviaGood food, outrageous wine pricesI enjoyed the ambience, food and service but felt ripped when it came to the wine list! They charge a $50 corkage ( I travel alot and have never paid that much!) .The wine prices were over the top.
People don't like to feel taken.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMJuvia was nice.I loved the way the wait staff helped each other out. If one was busy, another would come to make sure all was well with the tables. The food tasted as good as it looked - WHICH WAS FANTASTIC! The portions were perfect. Pricey, yes but definitely worth it. The view of South Beach was amazing.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazing DiningLocation spectacular, food amazing, service leaves something to be desired, ambiance not relaxing at all. If your looking to take out of towners for an unforgettable experience, Juvia is better in the afternoon. Evening crowd too loud to enjoy conversation. Food a bit pricy but well worth an occasional visit. Not sure that I will be back anytime soon. Will consider for a special occasion in the future.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMAnother amazing dinner at Juvia!!!Our dinner on Saturday was incredible! The hostess greeted my by name (I've only been there a few times) and took us to a wonderful location on the outdoor terrace. Our waitress was friendly, smart and professional. She know all about everything on the menu and gave us some good advice, when we prompted. He team kept our table clean, our water full, our drinks coming and knew exactly when to take plates from the table. Oh, and I LOVED that before she took an empty cocktail glass from our table, she asked if we were done with it. The food was incredible of course and the complimentary dessert cocktail shot from the manager really made for a memorable night.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMBoth food and service wereBoth food and service were very good but I found the place very noise. We had a table inside, thought the view was great, it was almost impossible to talk.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazing experienceThis restaraunt is my best experience in Miami beach! Try Chilian seabass, crab leg, and fried pineapple, though I'm sure all of menu is fantastic! Service was good and view was fascinating. This is a must do place in Miami Beach!5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMThe indication to go in theThe indication to go in the Juvia , it came of a friend . It´s really vibrant ambinet e energy . The drinks were excelent . The food was good , really my expectative was of a betther food. Neither of the 4 of us , were a impressive food.

Brazil5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMAbsolutely Amazing! We live in NYC and visited Miami for a long weekend. Juvia is hands down one of the best restaurants we've ever been to. Creative, fresh, amazing food and friendly and professional service. The fish was just perfect. Everything was perfect from appetizer through dessert/coffee. High quality, vibrant flavors and a diverse menu that will force you to come back for more. We will visit Juvia every time we are in Miami. A must for foodies!5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMGood experience!!!I went to the Juvia because some friends recommended ,and i really enjoy!

I UsuallyI like JUVIA a lot! I Usually get the tuna with the rice and avocado. That day I got the tuna that is served by itself. And I believe the other tuna that comes with the rice is a better deal for the money since it already comes with the rice and the avocado os great!!! Other than that love it! Will go back...4/28/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had an amazing experienceWe had an amazing experience at Juvia. Rooftop dining was spectacular. Food was really inventive and delicious, especially the king crab sushi.
Will definitely return in future trips to Miami.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMVery nice place, service andVery nice place, service and food very good. Totally recommend for a special or romantic dinner.4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMSouth Beach GemAmazing restaurant for my birthday - perfect combination of food, ambiance, scenery, and 'happening hot spot in South Beach'.The best restaurant I've experienced on South Beach. I would highly recommend this gem.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMHot Spot with great staff and foodJuvia was recommended by a neighbor, who had visited Miami Beach a few months before.
He compared Juvia to Skye, a reference in São Paulo, Brazil.
Our surprise was that, not only it was pretty much the same, but also the food was outstanding, with a fantastic staff supporting us.
BTW, our reservation was for 11:30 PM, and the service was fantastic.4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMgood food. good ambience butgood food. good ambience but a little bit noise and overpriced4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMSpectacular location withSpectacular location with excellent food and service. Incredible panoramic view of South Beach, the intercoastal and the Ocean
Bring your wallet, it's not cheap, but it is an experience worth paying for.
A memorable night out.4/11/2013 12:00:00 AMWe loved it! The food wasWe loved it! The food was excellent - wonderful flavors! Service was great - ambiance perfect. We highly recommend!!!!4/9/2013 12:00:00 AMLoved Juvia! We love, love, loved Juvia. If you want high quality, thoughtfully prepared food in a beautiful setting, this your place. Our group of four tried four of the crudos--all amazing, but the hamachi wih spicy yuzu cream was spectacular--plus entrees, drinks, and split a dessert. I had the special swordfish with tropical salsa and jasmine rice for entree. i know that sounds pedestrian, but it wasn't, because ingredients were so high quality, seasoned perfectly, the fish grilled just right. Tropical "shots" with warm coconut foam were a delight. Other great drinks were the spicy caprihina (sp?) and the "ginger ale" with vodka, mint and muddled ginger. Service was flawless. We will definitely be back next time we are in South Beach! Thanks Juvia!!4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMOur second time at Juvia. Our second time at Juvia. We're locals and live close to Lincoln road. Great place! The staff is very friendly and efficient without being snooty... something you can find at other restaurants on the Beach that are this pricey. There are two sections, one inside, one out. The outside part also has a large common bar area where a lot of people were hanging out, drinking and enjoying the view. We sat inside. The view is great there too looking out over Lincoln Road and Alton Rd. to the bay. We started with great bottle of Brunello that the sommelier recommended. Our food was great as was the service. They were efficient but didn't rush us. The place is not inexpensive, but we will definitely go back again.4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMBeautiful setting, however,Beautiful setting, however, for these pricesthe portions could have been bigger4/1/2013 12:00:00 AMrestaurante em local ótimo, restaurante em local ótimo, com uma linda vista da cidade. A comida é boa, nada demais, mas o ambiente vale a pena, apesar do preço elevado e porções médias de comida no prato. Vale muito a pena conhecer de dia, pela vista.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMThe best meal we have hadThe best meal we have had in a long time....great food.....awesome dessert.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMReally great addition to SouthReally great addition to South Beach dining. Food, service and views were all fantastic.
Wine list is very pricey, but we found a great Ribera del Duero for under $75.
Would definitely return and recommend to others.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMNoise level excruciating - food & vI'd call it a double edged sword restaurant. The food was absolutely outstanding, our service was excellent and the views were incredible! BUT, the noise level kept increasing as it got later into the evening, until it was nearly impossible to carry on a conversation at our small table of four - even with shouting! We cut the dining experience short and all four of us vowed we'd never return.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMAwesome but Expensive. HimachiAwesome but Expensive. Himachi with foam is a highlight and the candy bar for dessert should be one of the seven wonders of the world.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMLoved it and highly recommendLoved it and highly recommend it. Food is unique, staff is very friendly and helpful, the view is to die for!
Portions were a bit small for the price but every dish we ordered was delicious, to the appetizers to desserts.3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMgreat view, nice staff, decentgreat view, nice staff, decent food, good champane, excellent experience!!3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMNot only an unbelievable viewNot only an unbelievable view (we had a full moon over the beach), but the food was very good. Menu is unusual.
The lunch menu is nice, but portions run small and prices run quite high.3/25/2013 12:00:00 AMLive Life.View was spectacular, service was good all the way around. Group of 4 went for dinner. We had heard it was the best view onn the beach. We agree. We would recommend it. It's very pricey, more of a special occasion place or to have a drink and enjoy the view.3/24/2013 12:00:00 AMI tried that on my way backI tried that on my way back to Paris from Exuma, and I did not regret it. It was a good moment.
The crowd is a mix of locals, show-off Kardashians wannabe, and worldwide travelers (some of them actually do not match at all with the ambiance...).
Ladies at the entrance were efficient since we had a reservation. I would just have wished one table with city view instead of the one by the fountain, with all the people passing by, although our parisian sense of fashion was more noticable than the local tacky style, but we had a very professional and nice waitress in charge of us.
Food was great, I recommend the Stone Crab (of the day appetizer), and black angus tenderloin. Eclectic selection of wines too, and excellent Mojito.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMOnce again an experience wasOnce again an experience was fantastic professionally run well-trained staff ambience magnificent and food always consistent and fresh3/21/2013 12:00:00 AMJuvia is one of the most beautifulJuvia is one of the most beautiful spots in Miami. Anyone visiting the city should have the opportunity to see the city from this restaurant. The decor is sophisticated & hip - love the purple. The view almost made up for the food, which was mediocre.
The food at lunch is fine, not fabulous. I had the bento box with seared tuna. The tuna was a little bland. I needed some wasabi and the salad with tomatoes and avocado was a little mushy and the rice was rice. I also ordered the duck salad at the waiter's recommendation. The greens were fresh & tasty with a tangy dressing, but the duck was tasteless and the thin layer of fat was unappealing and needed to be much crispier and flavorful if it wanted to be anything other than fat.3/21/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat place and excellentGreat place and excellent view, most dishes are refreshing and well presented.3/21/2013 12:00:00 AMA must!I almost cancelled my reservation at Juvia after reading so many negative posts, but instead focused on the positive ones and took advice from friends who have been there. I would consider myself a foodie and know a great restaurant as I expect a level of experience since I only done out twice a month. Juvia is a phenomenal place and if you know what and how to order it doesn't have to be ultra expensive. The service was slow at the beginning but then was superb, our waiter was helpful and added to our experience as he guided us towards some items that we didn't consider ordering. The view is spectacular as is the vibe, order the Hamachi and ceviche, A+3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat place! Amazing viewsGreat place! Amazing views if the city. The restaurant has a GREAT vibe. The food is OK, no big deal. I would return for apps and drinks. dinner is very overpriced. Service was great!3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMJuvia is a very cool restaurantJuvia is a very cool restaurant with a magnificent view! We sat outside which was a lot of fun! A DJ played music which made us feel like we were at a party! The food was all excellent, but the portions were small. The service was a little slow, especially when we asked for our check at the end of the evening. The food and alcohol were both extremely overpriced! Overall, we enjoyed the experience, but it will never be a place we will go to often!3/10/2013 12:00:00 AMI had reserved a special nightI had reserved a special night for this restaurant and was not deceived. It took us a few minutes to work through the menu since we were with our kids. But the food was incredible and the view worthwhile. I would highly rcommend this special apot.2/16/2013 12:00:00 AMLoud!Lots of buzz - so lots of people who are standing around the centrally located bar in the room loudly chatting while diners at the tables at the circumferential windows can enjoy a meal. Go only if you (1) don't mind talking with your dinner companions at a very high volume to be heard and (2) want to enjoy a high floor view of Miami Beach. The food is very good though not amazing/outstanding. Wine list is strong but high markups - 3x retail.12/18/2012 12:00:00 AMLove the menu, loved the service,Love the menu, loved the service, and a
