Derived from the Hindi word meaning passion, Junoon delivers on the promise of its moniker with an authentic, yet elegantly modern take on Indian cuisine. Restaurateur Rajesh Bhardwaj, inspired by his deep affinity and commitment to the food and culture of his native India, has assembled a talented team, who share his same vision including celebrated chef and cookbook author, Vikas Khanna, helming Junoon's kitchen as Executive Chef.

Don't forget to peak into Junnon's one-of-a-kind Spice Room where an array of fresh spices are ground daily and made into a unique blend to be used in the marinades and sauces for the day.

  • "this was my second time here. As an Indian American, who cooks traditional Indian food, I love going here. Every dish is a real left turn from the standard Indian fare- in a good way. The dishes are inspired and unusual to anyone, familiar or unfamiliar with the cuisine. the portions are small so order accordingly. the naan peshawari stuffed with dried fruit was really delicious. And the onion Kulcha is mandatory! I had lobster curry. It was a little strange but I liked it. the cauliflower and eggplant appetizers were among the best. Good choice for vegetarians, OK for vegans. A great place to bring friends and clients. only drawback, a little too dimly lit, had trouble seeing my food clearly."

  • "The restaurant is an amazing one for Indian food. I was visiting for the 1st time and so had done my reservation but they had a dress code for the dining area which i dint knew about but the staff was too helpful and the manager gave us the permission to sit in the dining lounge. It was a great gesture from the staff which we loved. But we preferred sitting in the Patiala Lounge as the Ambiance was great. Food is amazing specially the "Lasooni Gobi". We loved the food. Even the staff and service was amazing. A wonderful Experience overall"

However the service is unbeleivably slow, and this is the second time I have been there for lunch and it has taken 90 minutes for them to serve the two-course lunch special, and it would have taken longer if we had not aske dthem to hurry up. Only about five tables were occupied and the waiting staff were not very busy. Great for lunch if you can be out of the office for two hours! "

  • "My boyfriend and I came for our anniversary dinner, and everything was amazing. I had never had "upscale Indian" cuisine before, and it was quite a treat! We split two vegan entrees (about half of the vegetarian options are) with pulao rice, and it was the perfect amount of food. The wine selection was also fantastic, and the specialty candies at the end of the meal were lovely as well. A very nice place for a special occasion."

  • "This is more like a NY restaurant that happens to have an Indian chef. The Indian flavors are subtle. You can taste them. But don't expect a bowl of butter chicken. Only complaint is some of the dishes were a little onion heavy. Service was top notch. Only 2 misses: Waiter didn't tell us if one dish was safe for those with food allergies. We had to wait till he came by and ask. Second two different waiters tried to take drink orders. Think there was some confusion. "

The food is excellent -- it is Indian cuisine, but much higher quality than typical Indian fare (which I normally enjoy anyway), in the preparation, presentation, and interestingness. Spacious and not noisy at all (at least during lunch --don't know about dinner), so it was easy to talk. Very pretty ambiance. Would not hesitate to go back. Good value for the quality, especially the prix fixe lunch. "

  • "Food was good, not phenomenal. Expected better food from a Michelin Star restaurant. Food was good Indian food, but missing the "Indianness". Group of 5, ordered 2 Non-Veg Thali's, 2 Veg Thali's and 1 Prix Fixe. The server placed one Non Veg thali in front of the person who had ordered a Veg thali. Huge faux pas in a Michelin Star. Special mention to the ambiance, it was great for a group, could be intimate for a couple if they so wanted. Overall, good food, great ambiance, decent service."

  • "Loved the food. The bartender and hostess were great. However, we had a 9:15 reservation and did not get seated until 10pm. We waited in the bar and had a beer. Given the very long wait, we would have appreciated them comping the beer. Once we were seated, it took quite some time to get our order in. The eggplant chaat was delicious and the fluke superb. We also really enjoyed the lamb kohlapuri and the chicken biriyani. I would not pay the extra $8 for the chutneys. My dining partner is from India. She loved everything but wasn't crazy about the chutneys."

  • "The food here was delicious. I had one of the best dahl dishes I've ever tasted. The cocktail list was interesting as well. I had a glass of champagne infused with saffron and orange peel. The only disappointment was the dessert. It was what I was expecting, but still tasted good. I'd recommend this to anyone for a special occasion dinner."
