We took friends out here for dinner on Friday night. We chose this restaurant partly because of the location. The service was good. The place was certainly busy and despite the noise level, we were able to hold a conversation at our table. The food, while good, was not anything special which was a disappointment. We had the brisket, chicken, seasonal butternut squash, and pork enchilada. One of our party had the mahi mahi sandwich which he said was very good. It certainly wasn't a bad experience, but from a food perspective we would try somewhere else the next time.

Food was very good. Small overall, with a good bar area. We sat at the bar for nearly an hour ahead of our reservation. It was a Friday night and quite busy. Food was very good. I've read others who said portion size was small. I did not find it to be. Was about the right amount of food. Enjoyed it and will be back

Great place to unwind and relax with a great meal and a glass of wine or beer. The brisket and mashed potatoes are delicious. Same for the burgers and salads. The Amish chicken is moist and yummy! Our service every time has been excellent. House wines are $7.00 with good optional selections and great bar service.

I was visiting Pittsburgh from out of town and needed to find a place in Cranberry to meet a friend for dinner. My search came up with 2 options... This was one of them. When I pulled up to the restaurant and saw that it was in a strip mall I was prepared to find a plan B. But I decided to go inside to wait for my friend. I was pleasantly surprised by the ambience and decided to stay. I'm glad I did! The food was wonderful and being from California I was a bit afraid of what I might find on the wine list. Again, pleasantly surprised. I would definitely go again if I were in the area.

We arrived at Juniper Grill and our requested booth was available and we were seated. Dave was our server and he was very informative with respect to the menu and his service was excellent. The food was outstanding. The wood fired asparagus , beef brisket and corn bread were tops. This was our first time at Juniper Grill and we will be back....it was an enjoyable evening.

Reservations for 4 people, 2 from out of town for Saturday September 13th. Seated promptly with menus, Chandler was our server. Wife and one of our guests ordered the Amish chicken, one the flank steak and I had barbeque. My wife's brother did not like the marinade on the steak and sent it back, replaced by a burger. Chandler and the manager could not have been more accommodating which was appreciated. My dinner and the chicken were very good. This was our 5th or 6th experience at Juniper and we will return.

As someone who typically dines in the South Hills, I was concerned about finding a great local spot to have a meal with my out of town in-laws. However, after checking out reviews for Juniper Grill online, we opted to head there way (close/convenient to their hotel & eclectic menu) and the restaurant did not disappoint. Great atmosphere, delicious food (in-house smoked brisket & the trout was amazing). Overall, very please with this restaurant and the next time we are up north, this will be our first choice to stop at.

My husband and I went to Juniper Grill on a Saturday evening (with reservations) with another couple. The food was interesting and tasty and the service was attentive. It was a little too dark and loud for us, but we still had a good time and enjoyed the restaurant. We'll probably try other restaurants before returning to Juniper Grill, but we would return.

The food and service here is excellent! The only downfall is the music seemed to me a decibel too loud, where you have to talk loudly so the other person across the table can hear you. But the overall atmosphere is great. The lighting is dim so it feels intimate. I think this is a great place for a dinner date.

The smell of the wood fired grill immediately lets you know you're in for some great food. I loved the Arctic Char special and my wife really enjoyed the BBQ brisket. The grilled romaine salad was also really special. Excellent beer list and I really appreciated their support of local brewers. My wife had a Lindeman's Framboise and it was a nice touch that they added a fresh raspberry to the bottom of the glass. Can't wait to visit again!

Restaurant was recommended by a friend. Took 2 customers there for dinner. 2 of us ordered the salmon with rice (daily special). The salmon was slightly undercooked and the rice even more so (actually crunching on some rice). Server was not very well educated on the menu. I'm disappointed as I enjoy taking customers from out of town to local restaurants, not chains. Unfortunately Juniper Grill is off that list.
